Library Import and Personal Picks

VaporLens now supports Steam library and wishlist imports.

Open My account and pick what to bring over. Imports read your Steam profile, so your profile and game details have to be set to Public.

Your library then becomes a taste profile: games you have actually played that VaporLens has already analyzed, weighted by playtime, so a game you sank three hundred hours into pulls harder than a weekend experiment. Please make sure playtime is not hidden in your Steam settings, since it is what the weighting reads. Games you own but never launched stay out, because owning a game says much less than playing it.

Once you have a profile, a Games you might like page shows up in your user menu. It ranks the hundred analyzed games closest to your taste and leaves out everything you already own or wishlisted.

Picks only cover games VaporLens has analyzed, so the list keeps growing as the queue moves. Nothing refreshes on its own yet - run the import again after you buy or play something new.

This is a first, very simple version of the feature. VaporLens will use your taste profile in a few more ways in future updates.
