Info about YORG.io:

Official game description:
About YORG.io
-------------
YORG.io is a fun game about supply chains and zombies. Your goal is to survive as long as possible and endure as many enemy waves as you can.
How to Play YORG.io
-------------------
The game is divided into day and night. During the day you will be safe, so use this time wisely to prepare and fortify your base.
Start by building your base and placing crystal mines which are your main source of income. If your mines are not connected to your base, place a transporter. To defend your base and survive the night, you will need defensive towers; since those require ammunition, you will have to build factories to produce them; these factories require resources, you will have to build mines to extract them. Did we mention the importance of supply lines?
At night, zombies will spawn and attack your buildings. Every day the zombies steadily get stronger, and every 10 waves a zombie boss will spawn. The game is lost when your Base is destroyed.
Highly Replayable
-----------------
Each game starts with a new configuration of available resources. This configuration must be carefully considered when placing your base and will change your strategy from game to game.
Unique towers
-------------
Each tower has strengths and weaknesses. Place them carefully to make sure you are using them to their full potential and always make sure they have plenty of ammo.
Enemy Abilities
---------------
As the day turn into night the waves of Zombies become harder. Zombies will evolve various abilities that will challenge even the most titanic defenses.
Big Boss
--------
The Dread Overlord shows up every 10 waves. This boss will require all your might to defeat it. Do not underestimate it!
There is no limit to the game, so the longer you stay alive the higher your name goes in the leaderboard. Now go ahead and show your friends who is the ultimate defender!

- Hardware Profile: No data
Feature extractions:
- Community Price:
  - Community fair range: $1.00 - $2.50
  - Reasoning: The reviews repeatedly treat $1 as a fair value and call a $1.99 sale a no-brainer, while translated feedback says the game is absolutely worth under 10 RMB (about $1.40) but 18 RMB (about $2.50) is definitely not worth it. One reviewer allows a full price under $5, but the more specific price signals and the repeated buy-only-on-sale sentiment cluster the fair base-game price around $1 to $2.50.
- Playtime Metrics:
  - Game completion: N/A
  - Story completion: N/A
  - Session length: 3.0h
  - Endgame: N/A
  - Reasoning: The reviews do not provide a completion time or a story-completion time; one review states the goal is survival rather than completion, and no narrative length is reported. Session length is supported by a report of playing 2.5 hours in one go and another of playing 3.5 hours nonstop, suggesting a typical multi-hour session around 3 hours. Endgame is unsupported because a review explicitly says there is no endgame.
- Time-to-fun:
  - Summary: The game is often described as enjoyable immediately, especially for its cheap addictive loop and base/resource management, but many players report it becomes repetitive or tedious after the initial period.

  - Time to anchor: N/A
  - Friction: Linear tower progression limits player autonomy; Chat/leaderboard integration feels confusing and unnecessary; Core loop can feel repetitive for players who crave novelty

- Enemies attack in waves (weight 0.11): Zombies attack in waves, with a quiet period between waves for preparation. Waves become stronger over time, increasing the challenge.
- Diamonds used for upgrades (weight 0.1): Diamonds (or crystals) are the primary currency used to level up the base, towers, walls, and other structures, as well as to construct new buildings. Managing diamond income is crucial.

Performance notes:
- Severe late-game optimization issues (weight 0.57): Performance drops catastrophically in later stages, with lag making the game unplayable. Frame rates fall below 1 FPS in accelerated monster fights and below 10 FPS after level 400 or around day 100.
- Disabling settings fails to fix lag (weight 0.33): Even with particles, animations, and all optimization features disabled, lag persists. Turning off sprites or visual effects does not prevent background calculations from causing frame drops.
- Crashes and freezes frequently (weight 0.23): The game crashes every 30 seconds, freezes during unit upgrades with shift, and has autosave freezes. Building an expansion for ten minutes also led to a crash.
- Lag builds over time (weight 0.19): Lag gradually increases as the base grows and as more sprites are added. This progressive degradation slows progress and makes late-game content a slideshow.
- CPU overload and high temperatures (weight 0.18): The game heavily taxes CPUs, reaching 98% usage on an i5 10600K and heating the CPU to nearly 100 degrees Celsius. An 8-thread i7 CPU was 100% occupied on the browser version.
- Pathfinding overload with many entities (weight 0.17): Severe lag occurs when hundreds of enemies and thousands of resource points require path calculations. Factories with many mines cause lag due to computing over a thousand paths per factory.
- Low FPS regardless of hardware (weight 0.17): Even on high-end CPUs like the i9 9900K, lag persists at day 100. Low hardware load (8% CPU, 3 GB RAM) still results in lag, indicating poor optimization.
- Input delays and control lag (weight 0.13): Moving the screen is delayed, pausing takes seconds to register, and zooming in quickly causes screen jumps. These responsiveness issues compound the lag problem.
- Optimization options insufficient (weight 0.13): Options to disable effects and reduce lag exist but do not provide a real fix. Reviewers note that the game still has heavy load despite these settings.
- Browser version particularly heavy (weight 0.09): The browser version loaded so heavily that it occupied 100% of an 8-thread i7 CPU. Ads playing despite adblockers caused freezing on the website version.
- Visual glitches and flickering waves (weight 0.09): Waves flicker for about 3 frames then end, and screen jumps occur when zooming. These visual anomalies disrupt gameplay.
- Early game runs well (weight 0.05): Some players report great FPS on early days and around day 100, indicating that performance issues are mostly late-game. This contrast highlights the optimization scaling problem.

Recommendations:
- Overall recommendation is positive (weight 0.25): Many reviewers recommend the game, especially to fans of tower defense or RTS. Key clusters show strong thumbs-up sentiment.

- Worth trying if curious (weight 0.13): Several reviewers say it is worth trying, especially if you saw it online and are considering it. It can be a decent experiment.
- Missing quality-of-life features (weight 0.09): Some players note that the game lacks important quality-of-life improvements, making it less engaging long-term. This reduces its recommendation for investment of time.

- Recommended for RTS players (weight 0.05): Those who like RTS games are likely to enjoy this title. It is suggested as a fitting choice for that audience.

- Browser game ported to PC (weight 0.25): Originally a browser game, it was ported to PC and is available on Steam. It was first found on various io game websites.
- Small scope, little content (weight 0.2): The game has limited content, no narrative, no endgame, and only one level with randomly generated resources. Some see it as a beginner project.
- Compared to Factorio (weight 0.17): Reviewers frequently compare it to Factorio, describing it as a light or simple version, or drawing parallels in base building and defense.
- Poor optimization and lag (weight 0.13): Despite developer settings to help, the game remains poorly optimized and can lag. The web version is noted as worse in this regard.
- Short, structured matches (weight 0.13): Matches are relatively short and clearly structured, offering a range from easy idle play to hard roguelike. It's seen as a game to play between other games.
- Developed by Tobias Springer (weight 0.13): The game is developed by Tobias Springer and published by tobspr Games. He is also known for shapez, and both games have echoes of Factorio.
- Yorg3.io exists with changes (weight 0.13): A newer Yorg3.io game exists online with different units, rules, and upgraded graphics that some feel lost the original's characteristic style.
- Compared to Creeper World (weight 0.12): Some reviewers compare it to the Creeper World series, suggesting they prefer that game or Mindustry, and feel time is better invested elsewhere.
- Underrated game (weight 0.11): One reviewer considers the game very underrated, and another looks forward to playing many more hours, giving it a personal rating of 8/10.
- Steam version runs better (weight 0.09): The Steam version runs faster and without intrusive ads compared to the free web version. However, some note the Steam version has less functionality.
- Minimalist graphics and sound (weight 0.09): Graphics are minimalist, similar to SpaceChem, and could be optimized further. Sound is present but often turned off and considered irrelevant.
- Tower defense with unique pace (weight 0.09): Compared to other tower defense titles, the speed of action sets it apart. Some prefer a slower build/attack phase, but this game is faster.
- Playtime and difficulty (weight 0.09): One reviewer played about 25 hours on easy and 10 on normal before dying. The game offers a range of difficulty from idle to roguelike.
- Very cheap and small size (weight 0.08): The game is very cheap, costing less than $5, and has a small 50MB size, making it lightweight and accessible.
- UI scaling issues (weight 0.06): The user interface cannot be scaled and is too small on 1440p, making it potentially unplayable on 4K. This is a common complaint.
- Linux support via Steam Play (weight 0.05): The game runs on Linux via Steam Play, which is a positive for Linux users.

Emotions:
- Frustration (weight 0.21): Players are frustrated by severe performance issues, including lag and crashes that make the game unplayable, especially in the late game. They also face long idle times for leveling, repetitive construction operations, and a wonky camera, which hinder progress and enjoyment.
- Disappointment (weight 0.2): Disappointment stems from a lack of depth and content, with monotonous late-game gameplay and missing quality-of-life features. Additionally, the paid version offers no advantage over a free version, and performance issues persist despite optimization options.
