Info about Tank Mechanic Simulator:

Official game description:
Fix, build and renovate highly detailed and fully interactive tanks (German, USA or Soviet), armored cars or self-propelled guns. Experience a realistic simulator game of being a Tank Mechanic.
Find abandoned and destroyed tanks from battlefields of Second World War. Use special tools to find each tank, and extract it from the ground. Grow your repair service business and start your own tank museum.
Start the engine of a newly renovated tank, and feel its former power!
Use different tools to work on tanks:
-------------------------------------
*   Rust Removal Tool
*   Sand Blaster
*   Paint Gun
*   Hammer
* Grinder - to cut and grind
* Wrench pistol - to quickly disassemble rusted screws/bolts
Experience the full process of renovation:
------------------------------------------
* Clean the tank from mud
*   De-rust the tank
*   Sandblast the tank
* Apply primer paint to the tank
* Apply final paint to the tank (factory paint)
* Add custom paint, camouflage, color, decal in the paint room
* Sell the tank or put it in your museum to gain money and reputation
Take a tank apart
-----------------
Use tools and take each tank apart. You can disassemble tank exterior parts, from the bottom (wheels and tracks) up to the turret (gun, barrel, gun cradle etc.). Additionally, the interior of the tank is also available to be renovated, the crew space, tank engine and tank drive system.
Take a seat inside the tank, as any of its crew. From here you can have better and easier access to the interior parts of the tank. Repair hatches, viewers, ammo holders, drive control components and gearbox parts.
To start the tank, you need to repair its engine, gearbox and fuel system. Take the engine out and move it to a special engine stand, to be able to interact with it. Make sure the fuel, coolant and oil systems are assembled and the fluids are filled, so the tank engine can be put to test.
High focus on details
---------------------
Our tanks and vehicles are based on construction documents, expert opinions and insights from top II World War museums. Our goal is to give a fun and realistic simulation experience of building and repairing these legendary machines.
Customize the tank as you wish, use different camouflages, paint colors, decals etc.
Find and extract tanks
----------------------
One of the ways to obtain a tank is to get it during the extraction mission. After finding the spot where the tank is underground, call for the excavation team. Prepare the tank for extraction, by pumping the mud out of the tank and then cleaning the tank from whatever's left. Finally, order the lifting of the tank onto the truck trailer, to finish the mission, and move the tank into the workshop.
Test your renovated tanks
-------------------------
Go on the training ground, check how your tank is dealing with special obstacles. Get inside the tank, start the engine and drive around to see if everything is working correctly.
You can also take the tank to the proving grounds, where you are able to shoot the tank’s armament on a special shooting range. You can use two different camera modes for better control of the tank.

Feature scans:
- MTX: score 15; verdict: DLC-Focused Monetization; summary: The monetization model relies on paid DLC that locks individual vehicles and creates a repetitive free experience to encourage purchases. However, there are no microtransactions, pay-to-win, or gambling elements, and some players appreciate the DLC quality.
- Steam Deck: score 85; verdict: Broken - Controller and Performance Issues; summary: The game suffers from severe controller support issues, poor performance with crashes and stuttering, and an interface that is not optimized for small screens or controllers. While some players manage to make it work with custom layouts, the overall experience on Steam Deck requires significant tinkering and is often broken.

- Hardware Profile:
  - Summary: Players with less than 8GB VRAM on Windows report poor performance and instability, while those with 12-15GB VRAM experience generally good performance with occasional stutters.
  - Sample size: 69 (7% coverage)

Feature extractions:
- Community Price:
  - Community fair range: $2.00 - $8.00
  - Reasoning: The majority of reviews recommend buying the game on sale, with many citing a sale price around $3. One review considers $3 too expensive, while another calls it a great value. A few reviews indicate the full $19.99 price may be acceptable, but most suggest the game is not worth that amount. The consensus indicates a fair price range below the current base price, roughly between $2 and $8, as sale prices commonly fall in that band and the game's quality and content do not justify the full $19.99 for most players.
- Playtime Metrics:
  - Game completion: 30.0h
  - Story completion: N/A
  - Session length: N/A
  - Endgame: N/A
  - Reasoning: The reviewer who has repaired almost all base game tanks reports 30 hours, strongly indicating game completion time. Another reviewer claims 25 hours of gameplay, supporting a similar estimate. For session length, a review explicitly states that restoring one or two tanks takes 20–30 minutes, suggesting a typical session duration of about half an hour. No evidence supports story completion or endgame hours, as the game lacks a story and post-completion content is not quantified.
- Time-to-fun:
  - Summary: Players initially face a steep learning curve due to a poor tutorial and confusing controls, but after about 5 hours or once they figure out the mechanics, the game becomes an enjoyable and meditative restoration experience.
  - Stance: Clicks after
  - Anchor: After the small learning curve where mechanics become second nature
  - Time to anchor: 5h 0m
  - Friction: bad tutorial with vague instructions; clunky controls and unclear keybinds; confusing UI and lack of guidance; tutorial bugs that softlock or skip steps; no way to replay skipped tutorial; initial steep learning curve
  - Unlock drivers: overcoming initial confusion through persistence; small learning curve that makes controls second nature; figuring out the core gameplay loop; adopting a meditative craft mindset; using external guides to supplement the tutorial
  - Conditions: player can overcome the poor tutorial; player persists through initial confusion; player adopts a meditative/craft approach; player uses external resources like YouTube; player tolerates repetitive tasks; player does not expect fast progression; player has patience for ~5 hours of confusion; player does not encounter game-breaking bugs

Emotions:
- Frustration (weight 0.62): Players are frustrated by a buggy, unhelpful tutorial that fails to explain core mechanics like controls, menus, and part assembly. The developers' focus on DLC over fixing the main game has exacerbated these issues.
- Satisfaction (weight 0.29): Players find satisfaction in the detailed, realistic restoration process of tanks, from disassembling rusted wrecks to successfully starting their engines. The game's variety of vehicles, museum building, and calming, methodical gameplay loop provide a fulfilling and educational experience for tank enthusiasts.
- Disappointment (weight 0.28): Players are disappointed by the game's limited content, with repetitive gameplay, a small number of detailed tank models, and a lack of depth compared to similar simulators. Poor execution, including bugs, clunky controls, and unbalanced economy, wastes the game's potential, leading to a feeling that the game has been abandoned by its developers.

The discovery of unique vehicles, realistic graphics, and engaging gameplay loop creates a highly engaging experience that keeps players hooked for hours.

The ability to play at one's own pace and the low-pressure gameplay make it an ideal way to de-stress and unwind.
- Anger (weight 0.06): Players are angry about severe technical issues, including game-breaking bugs that wipe hundreds of hours of save data, a broken tutorial, and misrepresented features like gamepad support. Poor controls and assembly instructions compound the frustration, leading to a perception that developers have abandoned the game.
- Dissatisfaction (weight 0.05): Players are dissatisfied with the game feeling incomplete, featuring outdated graphics, a limited number of tanks, and many iconic vehicles locked behind DLC. Poorly designed features like the test range, museum editor, and paint options fail to meet expectations, and the game appears abandoned without further updates.
- Confusion (weight 0.05): Players are confused by the game's poor tutorial, unclear interface, and lack of guidance on core mechanics like excavation and part assembly. Unclear objectives and buggy UI elements leave players stuck, forcing them to seek external guides to progress.
- Love (weight 0.04): Players love the game for its WW2 tank theme, detailed mechanics, and the ability to customize and display favorite vehicles in a museum. Despite some issues, the overall experience is highly valued, making it a recommended game for tank enthusiasts.

The game's unexpected realism and the player's own immersive reactions provide lighthearted entertainment.
- Annoyance (weight 0.04): Players are annoyed by persistent bugs, such as the test drive bug causing tanks to pivot in neutral, and physics issues that cause the player to get stuck. Inaccurate tank models on some vehicles and inconvenient UI elements, like the need to walk for tools, detract from the experience.
- Appreciation (weight 0.03): Players appreciate the game for its appeal to tank enthusiasts, offering deep insight into tank interiors and the complexity of maintenance. The museum concept, atmospheric details, and good performance on low-end hardware are particularly valued features.
- Enthusiasm (weight 0.02): Players are enthusiastic about the game's core concept of a tank mechanic simulator, which allows disassembling, repairing, and searching for tanks in nature. The high level of detail and realism, along with the museum feature, generate strong positive recommendations for the game.
- Fun (weight 0.02): Players find the game fun for its ability to be as detailed as possible in restoring tanks, making it a great time killer. The core gameplay loop is engaging and enjoyable, providing simple entertainment.
- Desire (weight 0.02): Players desire more content, specifically requesting additional tank types from various nations, such as WW1 and British tanks. They also wish for expanded features like multiplayer and tank modification to enhance the game's depth.
- Hope (weight 0.02): Players hope that future updates and DLC will add more content, such as Italian tanks, and improve the game's overall quality. They believe the game has potential and wish for continued development.
- Irritation (weight 0.01): Players are irritated by the awkward tool handling and driving controls, as well as bugs in part generation. The lack of a shopping list makes it difficult to track needed parts, adding to the frustration.
- Interest (weight 0.01): Players are interested in the game because it is a tank simulator that sparks curiosity about tanks and their internal mechanisms. The detailed parts and the process of building and repairing tanks are found to be intriguing and appealing.}
