Each point is assigned a weight that represents how often it is mentioned across all reviews.
What players like:
- Fun and engaging gameplay with unique mechanics (weight 0.99): Reviews highlight that the game is fun, with deck synergizing, chaotic friendly-fire cards, co-op runs, and satisfaction from overpowered builds. The gameplay is considered different from Slay the Spire and enjoyable.
- Appealing art style and character designs (weight 0.69): Many reviews praise the art style, calling it beautiful, cute, pixel art, anime style, and appealing character designs. The art is a major positive aspect.
- Responsive developers and active support (weight 0.45): The development team is commended for quick bug fixes, active communication on forums, and not over-nerfing strategies. This builds trust and enthusiasm for future updates.
- Creative card customization and deck building (weight 0.45): The custom card editing, vault system, and blank card crafting are praised. Players enjoy creating overpowered custom cards and adjusting deck composition, adding high replayability.
- Co-op and multiplayer features enjoyed (weight 0.23): The co-op mode is highlighted as enjoyable, with 4-player support adding to the fun. Multiplayer availability is appreciated.
- Excellent value for money (weight 0.21): Many players consider the game worth the price, with comments about fair pricing, high value, and being a steal at $7. The content is rich for the cost.
- Rich content and depth (weight 0.2): The game has many decks, characters, cards, and items. Players note the depth in deck design, content, and replayability.
- Good music and audio design (weight 0.15): Several reviews mention good music, sound effects, and combat sound. Audio is considered a positive element.
- Favorable comparison to Slay the Spire (weight 0.13): Some reviews see it as a true sequel or better in some aspects (e.g., easy to go infinite). It offers a different but fun experience.

Common complaints:
- UI and Visual Clutter (weight 0.95): The user interface is described as cluttered, flashy, and lacking focus. Small text, overlapping elements, poor contrast, and unpolished design make it difficult to read information such as buffs, buttons, and card details, causing eye strain and confusion.
- Poor Tutorial and Guidance (weight 0.71): Players consistently report that tutorials are inadequate or missing entirely, leaving them confused about core mechanics, building functions, progression, and interactions. Many feel forced to guess or seek external help, which creates a high initial learning curve.
- Imbalanced Difficulty and Scaling (weight 0.6): The game suffers from severe balance problems: early runs are too easy due to infinite combos and stacking blessings, while later bosses feel overtuned or rely on artificial difficulty. This reduces strategic depth and makes gameplay feel monotonous.
- Weak Audio-Visual Feedback (weight 0.54): Sound effects and animations are often missing, weak, or too fast, diminishing combat impact. Players note low BGM volume, lack of hit feedback, and unresponsive controls that collectively make the game feel cheap and unsatisfying.
- Unfinished and Low Production Value (weight 0.48): Many players note that the game feels half-baked, with missing features, low completion level, and rough presentation. It resembles an early access version rather than a finished product, disappointing expectations from its Kickstarter campaign.
- Technical Bugs and Control Issues (weight 0.45): Players encounter crashes, freezes, unresponsive keyboard controls, misclick issues, and hitbox problems. These technical flaws disrupt gameplay and indicate a lack of polish, with some mechanics feeling untested.
- Inconsistent Art and Quality (weight 0.36): Art assets have inconsistent resolution and style, with blurry character portraits and mismatched menus. The overall visual presentation is considered rough and unpolished, detracting from immersion.
- Weak Story and Writing (weight 0.31): The narrative is described as generic and poorly written, with cliche dialogue, long unskippable text, and shallow character development. This contributes to a low-quality experience that fails to engage players.
- Incomplete Translation and Localization (weight 0.2): Multiple languages suffer from untranslated text, with Chinese strings appearing even in other language modes. Korean localization is entirely missing, and the overall translation quality is rough, making the game confusing for international players.

Gameplay feedback:
- Card roguelike deck-builder (weight 0.37): The game is primarily a card-based roguelike with deck-building mechanics. Players engage in turn-based combat, collect cards, and build their deck over multiple runs. This core identity is reinforced by numerous clusters describing it as such.
- Infinite combos and exponential scaling (weight 0.27): The game enables easy infinite combos through cost recovery, self-draw mechanics, and multiplicative scaling. Players can achieve exponential growth in damage and power, leading to overpowered states.
- Co-op and multiplayer support (weight 0.19): Players can team up with others in cooperative multiplayer modes. The game includes co-op mechanics and online multiplayer options, making it a social experience.
- Custom card editing and creation (weight 0.14): Players can modify card effects, values, triggers, and even create original cards. This feature allows deep customization and personalization of the deck-building experience.
- Persistent block and armor (weight 0.11): Defense values carry over between turns without being removed, similar to Slay the Spire's block mechanic. This allows players to build up a persistent shield over multiple rounds.
- Free and unlimited card deletion (weight 0.11): Players can delete cards from their deck at no cost, and some interactions provide money or benefits for removing cards. This enables tight, optimized deck strategies.
- Boss mechanics and curses (weight 0.11): Bosses have unique mechanics such as damage caps, resurrection, and curse systems. These challenges require specific strategies to overcome, like using bleed or ghostify builds.
- High learning curve and complexity (weight 0.11): The game features numerous systems, buffs, debuffs, and interactions, leading to a steep learning curve. New players may find it complex, but experienced players enjoy the depth.
- Route building and stage selection (weight 0.1): Players can choose their own path to the boss by selecting stages from a route map. This non-linear progression allows strategic planning and replayability.
- Storage and vault system (weight 0.1): Cards and relics can be stored between runs using a vault or storage system. This allows players to save powerful items for future runs, enhancing long-term progression.

Performance notes:
- Severe performance issues on low-end hardware (weight 0.15): Players report extremely low frame rates (e.g., 6 FPS at 1080p on integrated graphics), lag, poor animation smoothness, and overall mediocre optimization. These issues make the game nearly unplayable on low-end laptops.
- Window mode resolution mismatch (weight 0.04): When running in windowed mode, the displayed resolution may not match the actual setting, causing visual inconsistencies.

Recommendations:
- Not recommended in current state (weight 0.46): Many players advise against purchasing the game now due to various issues including lack of content, UI problems, balance issues, and need for polish. It is recommended to wait for updates and improvements before buying.
- Recommended for specific player types (weight 0.33): The game is well-suited for card game enthusiasts, co-op fans, casual players, and those who enjoy building combos. However, hardcore roguelike players seeking depth may be disappointed.

Other player notes:
- Desires DLC for content expansion (weight 0.05): Players are requesting downloadable content (DLC) to enhance or expand the game. This suggests that the current content may feel insufficient or players are eager for more experiences.

Emotions:
- Frustration (weight 0.23): The main causes of frustration center around poor tutorial and guidance, leading to confusion about mechanics and unclear UI design. Players also reported technical issues like crashes, freezes, low FPS, and lag, which prevented smooth gameplay. Balance issues, unclear buff/debuff visibility, and counterintuitive controls further contributed to a negative experience.
- Disappointment (weight 0.16): Disappointment stems from the game feeling unfinished and lacking polish compared to expectations set by similar titles like Slay the Spire. Issues like poor UI/UX, cheap animations, broken balance, missing translations, and half-baked features (e.g., hot spring, town interface) made the experience feel rough. Players were let down by the contrast between promising art/ideas and underwhelming execution.
- Satisfaction (weight 0.11): Satisfaction arises from enjoying the game after overcoming the learning curve, with many players praising the high build freedom, satisfying combo systems, and fun co-op gameplay. The value for money, unique mechanics, and developer balancing philosophy also contributed positively. Clearing high-difficulty content and building powerful decks provided a strong sense of accomplishment.
- Enjoyment (weight 0.08): Enjoyment is driven by fun gameplay mechanics, engaging combat, and the discovery of powerful builds and infinite combos. The music and art were also highlighted as enjoyable elements. Despite some minor issues, players found the game to be a fun and different experience compared to other card games.
- Hope (weight 0.07): Hope is based on expectations that future updates will polish the game, with frequent developer updates and workshop support mentioned. Promises such as Korean localization and adding story content to the hot spring give players confidence. Some players are willing to change their review after improvements are made.
- Confusion (weight 0.05): Confusion primarily results from a lack of clear tutorials and proper UI feedback, leaving players unsure about mechanics like card draw, buffs, and spell material systems. Specific issues include unclear targeting, missing damage number displays, and an unmentioned deck minimum limit. The bag full system also went unexplained.
- Appreciation (weight 0.04): Appreciation is directed at the developers for their responsiveness and transparency, such as quickly posting guides outside the game and working on improving guidance. Despite the game's issues, players acknowledge the developers' seriousness and willingness to listen to feedback, as well as the attractive character designs.
- Optimism (weight 0.03): Optimism stems from the game showing steady improvement over time and having strong potential. Players noted that the developers are responsive and fixing issues quickly, and future plans like workshop support are promising. Some believe the game could be a GOTY contender if balance is refined.
- Excitement (weight 0.03): Excitement comes from achieving high damage numbers with small decks, enjoying co-op, and discovering genius crafting mechanics that allow insane custom card power. Players expressed excitement about finally playing the game after waiting, and the great value and high-quality content were praised. One player even declared it the true sequel to a beloved game.
- Criticism (weight 0.03): Criticism focuses on broken balance that makes the game too easy, unmemorable audio that sounds stock, and thin gameplay compared to genre standards. These factors undermine the overall experience despite some positive elements.
- Frustrated (weight 0.03): Frustration here is caused by the game being too easy due to infinite combos forcing small deck play, along with a lack of polish in music and animations. The cluttered art style and UI inconsistencies also contribute to a half-baked feel, making the experience frustrating.
- Hopeful (weight 0.03): Hopefulness is rooted in the game's good quality potential but need for polishing; players want to support it despite current issues. The good art, music, and price point encourage optimism, and some are open to retrying once specific problems are fixed.
- Approval (weight 0.02): Approval is given for the schedule system providing strategic route planning, and for the game offering high value for money. These positive features lead players to approve of the overall experience.
- Desire (weight 0.02): Desire is expressed for additional features such as local co-op and controller support, as well as extra rewards for crowdfunding backers. These wishes reflect a hope for the game to expand its accessibility and show appreciation for early supporters.
- Annoyance (weight 0.02): Annoyance arises from slow dialogue in facilities, a cluttered screen with cheap UI and lack of guidance, and having to seek basic info in community forums. The auto-play resetting on dialogue changes also frustrated players.
- Like (weight 0.02): Like is driven by cute characters, good music, and enjoyable co-op gameplay. The cute art style and character designs were specifically mentioned as appealing.
- Attraction (weight 0.02): Attraction is based on the art style and combat animations, particularly the lewd portraits and white-haired anime girls. These visual elements draw players in.
- Satisfied (weight 0.02): Satisfaction comes from a satisfying combo system with broken builds, plenty of content with good combat and non-annoying monster designs. Overall, the game provides a satisfying experience.
- Caution (weight 0.02): Caution is advised due to optimization and bugs, potential balance issues, and the general recommendation to wait for updates before purchasing. Players suggest that the game may improve over time.
- Impressed (weight 0.02): Impression is based on a student team achieving high quality, and the game being refined with smooth mechanics and depth despite being developed by a small team. This exceeds expectations.}
