About the Game
==============
"Your Big, Cute Monster Farm" is a casual idle farming game that lives at the bottom of your screen. With no complex controls required, your cute monsters will handle all the farming — from tilling and planting to watering and harvesting. A lively little world quietly grows. Just take a moment to arrange your facilities while you work or study, decorate your farm, and enjoy the fruits of your labor!
Each monster has a special skill: some are great at planting, others at watering, some excel at harvesting. There are even rare all-rounder critters who can do it all! Just assign your monsters to the right plots, and they’ll spring into work automatically. Occasionally ring the little bell to urge them on and make your farm even more efficient!
As your farm grows, your initial team of monsters won’t be enough to handle the increasing workload. You’ll need more powerful partners to join your farming team. Use hatchery to hatch brand-new monsters and enjoy the thrill of upgrades. Or try the merge system to transfer one monster’s ability to another. Keep optimizing your monsters through hatching, training, and merging to build the ultimate monster farming team!
There are dozens of crop types in the game that unlock as you progress. But don’t underestimate the ordinary ones — they may surprise you! A regular cabbage might mutate into a rose-cabbage, and a cauliflower could grow cute cat ears suddenly. These mutated crops aren’t just visually unique and delightfully surprising — they also sell for a higher price! It’s truly a case of “double the harvest for the same effort!”
As you continue playing, you’ll unlock a variety of adorable decorations and functional buildings: wooden fences, flower beds, water wells — everything you need! Drag and drop things anywhere you like to create the farm of your dreams. Watching your custom farm come to life is endlessly satisfying. And as the map expands, you’ll uncover ancient ruins, uniquely themed regions, and more surprises just waiting to be discovered.

Below are summaries of things people say about the game per category.
Each point is assigned a weight that represents how often it is mentioned across all reviews.
What players like:
- Cute & Healing Pixel Art (weight 0.97): The game's cute, pixelated, and often hand-drawn art style is a significant draw, described as "healing" and aesthetically pleasing. This visual charm, combined with gentle music and a warm atmosphere, greatly contributes to the game's overall relaxing and inviting feel.
- Relaxing & AFK-friendly Idle Farm (weight 0.83): Players highly value the game's casual, relaxing nature, making it perfect for background play while working or studying. Its low-pressure, semi-AFK gameplay provides a stress-relieving and "healing" experience, often described as "electronic Ibuprofen" due to its comfortable rhythm and minimal interaction requirements.
- Cute Creatures Automate Farming (weight 0.49): A major appeal is the charming "Phantom Beasts" or "fantasy creatures" that automatically handle all farming tasks, freeing players from manual input. Players enjoy collecting these creatures through gacha, fusing them to strengthen talents, and strategically assigning them based on their unique skills to efficiently manage and grow their farm.
- Satisfying Farm Customization & Growth (weight 0.19): Players enjoy the ability to customize and decorate their farm with various buildings and decorations, some offering bonus effects, encouraging creative layout planning. The progression system, including crop evolution and facility upgrades, provides a satisfying sense of accomplishment as the farm transforms and grows.
- High Quality & Good Value (weight 0.17): Players praise the game's overall high quality, calling it unexpectedly good with top-tier graphics and gameplay. They find the price appropriate for the rich and substantial content, appreciating the multi-dimensional training and replayability. The seamless transfer of demo progress was also a welcome feature.

Common complaints:
- Slow, grindy progression (weight 0.25): Many players find the game's progression extremely slow, particularly in early farm development and diamond acquisition, leading to a feeling of excessive grind. Drop rates for resources and diamonds are too low, and values seem adjusted to artificially prolong gameplay. The money tree is ineffective, and building prices escalate too quickly, further hindering progress.
- Limited content and depth (weight 0.21): Many players feel the game lacks sufficient content, depth, and variety in gameplay mechanics, buildings, decorations, and crops. This leads to repetitive gameplay, slow progression, and a feeling that the game is not worth its price, especially when compared to similar titles.
- Phantom Beast system flaws (weight 0.18): Players report a lack of variety in Phantom Beasts and their skills, making it difficult to obtain powerful ones. The fusion system is criticized for its randomness and inability to significantly improve beast quality or skill count, leading to many low-quality 'shiny' pets feeling useless. The working beast limit is also too low.
- Technical bugs and issues (weight 0.13): Players report several technical issues, including frequent cloud synchronization failures, sometimes linked to network accelerators. A specific 'switch screen' setting bug prevents users from reverting their display, indicating a significant UI/UX flaw or bug. Minor general bugs are also present.
- Minor UI/UX and aesthetics (weight 0.09): Feedback includes minor UI/UX annoyances such as farmland and text sticking to the bottom of the screen, and text being hard to read without a font size adjustment option. Some players also note sparse sound effects and music, or that the game's overall style isn't to their preference.

Gameplay feedback:
- Detailed Monster Task Management (weight 0.41): Phantom Beasts are central to farming, each possessing unique abilities, specialties (sowing, watering, harvesting), rarity levels, and talents. Players strategically assign these monsters to specific farm areas, managing their work range and leveraging their skills, which can be enhanced by nearby decorations.
- Casual Idle Farm Management (weight 0.4): The game provides a desktop idle farming experience focused on low workload and casual play. Players manage an automated farm run by monsters, primarily selling harvested crops and occasionally interacting while the game runs in the background to generate income and progress.
- Multiple Diamond & Gold Sources (weight 0.21): Gold is earned primarily by selling harvested crops and is used for farm expansion and buildings. Diamonds, crucial for the gacha system, are obtained through manual actions like clicking mushrooms and scaring birds, selling mutated crops, and completing tasks on the 'acquisition panel'.
- Gacha System for Monsters (weight 0.2): Players acquire new Phantom Beasts mainly through a gacha system at the hatchery, using diamonds as currency. Obtaining higher-quality monsters often requires repeated gacha pulls, and diamonds can also be earned by selling existing beasts.
- Monster Fusion and Skill Transfer (weight 0.18): The game features a fusion system that allows players to combine two Phantom Beasts to create new or stronger ones, inheriting skills. Players can lock a limited number of desired skills during fusion to ensure their transfer, aiming to create beasts with optimal talent combinations.
- Farm Layout & Building Options (weight 0.12): Players can expand their farm area using earned gold and customize it with various buildings and decorations that may offer buffs. The game also provides a feature to remove all buildings, enabling complete farm redesigns.
- Unlocking Diverse & Mutated Crops (weight 0.11): The game offers a variety of seeds and crops, with new types unlocked sequentially after fulfilling specific growing requirements. Additionally, crops have a rare chance to mutate into unique variants upon harvest, adding an element of surprise and potential for special rewards.

Performance notes:
- High-end PC performance issues (weight 0.02): Players are experiencing significant lag and performance problems even when running the game on high-end hardware, such as an RTX 4090 graphics card. This suggests potential optimization issues within the game itself, not just on lower-spec systems.
- 'Fantasy beasts' drag-and-drop bug (weight 0.02): There is a specific bug where newly acquired 'all-purpose fantasy beasts' cannot be dragged to designated fields. Users are forced to restart the game to resolve this issue, disrupting gameplay.

Recommendations:
- Ideal for passive play (weight 0.13): Many players highly recommend the game as an excellent idle experience, perfect for background play during work or for simply passing time. It's particularly popular among office workers looking for a relaxing, hands-off diversion.
- Cloud save critical issue (weight 0.05): A significant point of frustration for some players is the unresolved cloud save issue. This technical problem is a major blocker for their recommendation and negatively impacts the overall player experience.
- Desire for more content (weight 0.03): Players expressed a strong desire for new content, specifically requesting the addition of more fantasy beasts and diverse crops. Expanding the game's collection aspects would enhance replayability and long-term engagement.
- Appeals to collectors/fans (weight 0.03): The game is particularly recommended for fans of collecting things, such as plushies, and for those who enjoy creature-collecting games akin to Pokémon. A specific collaboration event was also highlighted as a strong draw for these players.
- Adjust skill fusion limit (weight 0.02): A specific gameplay suggestion was made to modify the skill locking limit during fusion, proposing an increase to a maximum of five skills. This indicates a desire for refinement in the skill customization mechanics.

Other player notes:
- Enhance Quality of Life & Automation (weight 0.18): Numerous suggestions focus on streamlining gameplay, such as automating repetitive tasks like the money tree, providing independent placement for key buildings, and implementing hints for achievements. Players also seek improved UI customization, better adaptability for different screen orientations, and more functional warehouse management.
- Expand Core Gameplay & Content (weight 0.17): Players consistently express a strong desire for more content, including additional farm terrains, diverse crop types, fishing, and new core mechanics beyond the current planting and phantom beast fusion loops. There's also a clear request for more phantom beast types, skills, and unique characteristics for shiny or mutated pets.
- Refine Economy & Progression Systems (weight 0.16): Feedback indicates a need to adjust game balance, particularly regarding drop rates for valuable items, the frequency of specific orders, and the overall diamond economy. Suggestions include creating more avenues for diamond generation (e.g., from plants, money tree) and implementing a gold-to-diamond exchange. Additionally, players are looking for deeper progression through skill upgrade systems and out-of-game stat points.

Emotions:
- Satisfaction (weight 0.17): Players feel satisfied due to the game's excellent implementation of idle mechanics, offering a casual, hands-off experience with automated farming and passive progression. The comfortable rhythm, cute aesthetics of phantom beasts, and ability to play in the background or while slacking off at work contribute to a relaxing and engaging experience. This often combines with a sense of achievement from customization and content richness.
- Frustration (weight 0.13): Frustration stems primarily from critical technical issues like persistent cloud save errors, lag, stuttering, and game-breaking bugs that interrupt gameplay and waste idle time. Players also express significant dissatisfaction with slow progression, resource scarcity (especially diamonds), high building/fusion costs, and a perceived lack of value for money. These issues are compounded by UI/UX flaws such as obscured text and missing features.
- Relaxation (weight 0.1): Players experience relaxation from the game's hands-off, low-attention requirements, allowing for casual background play. The peaceful farming process, watching cute phantom beasts automate tasks, and the soothing atmosphere with beautiful background music contribute to a calming and mentally untaxing experience. It provides a welcome break from daily stress.
- Disappointment (weight 0.08): Disappointment arises from a perceived lack of game depth and content, especially in comparison to similar titles, leading to slow early game progression and extensive grinding for advanced features. Players are also let down by features like monster fusion not meeting expectations, low usability of certain pets, and poor numerical balance. Concerns about drop rates and limited utility of decorations further contribute to this feeling.
- Joy (weight 0.06): Joy is frequently reported due to the game's cute art style and healing atmosphere, providing a visually pleasing and emotionally uplifting experience. Players enjoy the balanced gameplay with passive progression, the satisfaction of watching their farm thrive with the help of cute creatures, and the ability to customize and collect rare variants. This enjoyment is often found while discreetly playing during work.
- Delight (weight 0.06): Delight is almost exclusively driven by the game's exceptionally cute and exquisitely beautiful pixel art style, particularly the design and animation of the fantasy beasts. The warm, healing atmosphere created by these visuals, combined with the charm of the desktop farm and varied monster designs, provides a highly pleasing aesthetic experience.
- Enjoyment (weight 0.04): Players enjoy the game for its core desktop idle genre mechanics, which resonate with personal preferences for animal-themed farming and passive progression. The satisfaction of watching cute pets work, engaging with beast fusion and gacha mechanics, and the overall ability to play casually in the background or during work contribute to a fun and engaging experience.
- Excitement (weight 0.04): Excitement stems from the discovery of a highly engaging and potentially "best-in-genre" idle game, characterized by addictive mechanics like card drawing, fantasy beast fusion, and 'shiny hunting'. Players are thrilled by the prospect of discovering and strengthening all monsters, customizing their farm, and the overall potential for a deep and rewarding casual play experience.
- Hope (weight 0.03): Hope is focused on the game's future development, with players expressing a strong desire for more content, including new features like weather, decorations, and increased variety in crops and fantasy beasts. There is also an optimistic expectation for developers to implement suggested improvements to gameplay and address existing limitations.
- Contentment (weight 0.03): Contentment is derived from the game's ability to provide a relaxing, mood-improving, and peaceful farming experience that isn't overly challenging. The slowly developing farm theme and its suitability for casual background play, particularly for fitting into a busy lifestyle or during work, contribute significantly to this feeling.
- Anger (weight 0.02): Anger is specifically linked to critical technical failures, such as a non-functional cloud save system, and the perceived lack of developer support or inadequate testing for these issues. This suggests a breakdown in core game functionality and trust in the support system.
- Helpfulness (weight 0.02): Helpfulness manifests as players actively contributing to the community by sharing detailed game guides, tips, and knowledge. This indicates a desire to assist fellow players in understanding mechanics and improving their gameplay experience.
- Suggestion (weight 0.02): Players offer suggestions for specific game improvements, such as modifying the diamond economy to include all plant sales, enhancing the monster fusion system, and increasing the utility of shiny or mutated pets. These suggestions aim to improve game balance and depth.
- Desire (weight 0.02): Players express a strong desire for specific enhancements and new features, including increased late-game power, UI improvements like adjustable font size and full-screen mode. They also wish for new content such as a preset scene feature for farm planning, increased farm height, and fishing.
- Enthusiasm (weight 0.02): Enthusiasm is characterized by a strong recommendation for the game, particularly to office workers or those seeking a long-term idle experience. This highlights the game's appeal for casual, sustained background play.
- Interest (weight 0.01): Interest is sparked by the discovery of the game's intricate mechanics, including pet traits, fusion, gacha, and buffing decorations, along with its unique theme. Players are engaged by exploring the depth of these systems and how they compare to similar titles.
- Addiction (weight 0.01): Players describe the game as addictive due to its immersive and compelling gameplay loop, which leads to excessive playtime. This suggests a strong pull from the core mechanics and progression system.
- Amusement (weight 0.01): Amusement comes from unique and humorous aspects of the game, such as embracing the role of an 'evil farm owner' and the practical joke of a one-click hide feature. Players also find humor in self-inflicted situations like lag from running multiple background idle games.
- Anticipation (weight 0.01): Anticipation is driven by the excitement of discovering rare items or creatures through card drawing mechanics and the expectation of a substantial amount of content yet to be explored. This suggests a strong sense of future reward and engagement.
