Release date: Sep 22, 2026

Categories: Interactive Movie, Co-op Multiplayer, Built-in Voice Chat, Branching Narrative, Multiple Endings, Mini-game Collection, Spy Experience, Historical Setting

Feature scans:
- Steam Deck: score 70; verdict: Broken / Not Deck Ready; summary: User feedback shows significant friction for Steam Deck-style portable play. Reviews report stutters, black screens, and freezes or crashes when resizing the window. A progression bug causes badge totals and achievements to fail, requiring reloads. The game also appears to require a second player to launch, blocking solo sessions. These issues prevent a seamless out-of-the-box experience.

- Hardware Profile:
  - Summary: Most reported hardware cohorts show positive performance, while the sub-8GB VRAM cohort reports crashes and freezes when resizing the window.
  - Sample size: 38 (4% coverage)
  - Audience skew: Review sample is heavily weighted toward Windows PCs with 10GB+ VRAM.
  - Windows 12-15GB VRAM (positive, 12 reports): A player reports that the game runs well after the team optimized many earlier issues.
  - Windows <8GB VRAM (negative, 11 reports): A player reports that resizing the game in windowed mode causes freezes or crashes, indicating instability on this tier.
  - Windows 16GB+ VRAM (positive, 7 reports): A player recommends the game and reports playable performance, with only a minor note that the image can appear a bit blurry.
  - Caveats: 38 of 867 reviews expose hardware metadata.; Review sample is heavily weighted toward Windows PCs with 10GB+ VRAM.
Feature extractions:
- Community Price:
  - Community fair range: $4.00 - $6.00
  - Reasoning: The reviews repeatedly use movie-ticket comparisons and explicit RMB thresholds to judge value. One reviewer says 40 RMB is acceptable and is pleasantly surprised by a launch discount under 30 RMB, while another calls 30 RMB for roughly 8 hours of play good value. These comments indicate that the community sees the fair base-game price as low, roughly 30-40 RMB. Converted to USD, this is about $4.2-$5.5, so a fair base-game range is approximately $4-$6.
- Playtime Metrics:
  - Game completion: 10.0h
  - Story completion: 6.5h
  - Session length: 8.0h
  - Endgame: 4.5h
  - Reasoning: The reviews report a main narrative length of about 6-7 hours, with one completion report saying roughly six-plus hours if not stuck and nearly eight hours in a continuous co-op run. That supports storyCompletion around 6.5 hours. A separate player reports 10 hours total for all achievements, which I use as gameCompletion for full completion. The same completion report mentions nearly eight hours straight, supporting a long sessionLength of about 8 hours. For endgame, a player says they spent an extra 4-5 hours after clearing to reach 100% chapter exploration, so endgame is about 4.5 hours.
- Time-to-fun:
  - Summary: Players report that co-op play makes the game fun almost immediately: the two-player interactive-drama format, shared discussion, and minigames land from the start, with the shooting contest as a standout. Friction is mainly the need for a friend or two copies, plot bugs, and tolerance for uneven acting or logic.
  - Stance: Fun immediately
  - Anchor: Co-op play with a friend
  - Time to anchor: N/A
  - Friction: Must have a friend to play; no friend pass and requires buying a second copy.; Plot bugs and logic gaps can be distracting.; A distracting male lead performance can hurt immersion.; Players who want airtight logic or prefer solo play may bounce off.; Difficulty can depend on the co-op partner's skill and communication.; Awkward plot moments may need to be tolerated or teased through.
  - Unlock drivers: Playing with a friend turns the story into shared discussion, teasing, and laughter.; Co-op banter makes awkward scenes and uneven acting tolerable.; Minigames have save or checkpoint mechanics, so players rarely get stuck for long.; Moderate difficulty and varied interactive segments keep progress comfortable.; The shooting contest minigame becomes a standout addictive hook.; Branching endings and immersive spy drama reward continued play.
  - Conditions: Having a friend or co-op partner available.; Willingness to overlook plot bugs and uneven acting.; Not demanding airtight logic or solo-play suitability.; Enjoying spy and interactive-drama genres.; Playing for shared laughs and light entertainment rather than narrative perfection.; Having a communicative or compatible partner.; Playing in shorter sessions and continuing another day.; Buying two copies because there is no friend pass.
