About the Game
==============
Create your own legend in a 1 to 4 player co-operative personality test! Explore a mystical Mesopotamian-inspired world that's different every time you play.
The Steam version includes the free expansion, Eternal Echoes, with a new snowy tribe, seventh character class, and a new constellation meta-game system, complete with a final boss and endless arena mode.
When the moon does not rise over Issaria, monsters infest the land and cause chaos. You must set out alone or with the other chosen children of the Moon to solve the mystery and restore balance. You have only 5 days before King Mardokh and the Sun Cultists declare war.
Multiple playthroughs uncover characters, conflicts, and decisions. Each of the five tribes responds differently to the crisis and looks for different qualities in their heroes.
Every action and choice you make contributes to your legend as a constellation in the night sky. Future generations will build upon the mythology you create. How will you be remembered?
* Build your mythology: Your actions and decisions grow into your reputation, changing how the world reacts to and remembers you.
* A mystical journey: Different locations and landmarks each have their own potential to help or hinder adventurers.
* Revive your old heroes: Honor your past heroes, and test their strength against the new final boss or endless arena
* Local co-op: Playing alone is fine, but team up with others to overcome the hardest challenges!
* Great for parties: Each playthrough is less than an hour, allowing people to play together in one sitting.
* Different every time: With a randomly generated world and adventure levels, with different upgrades at each vendor, there's always something new to find.
* Familiars: Find various animal companions to help you on your journey.
Seven unique character classes offer a variety of gameplay styles:
Spellblade: dodge and weave with quick melee attacks
Witch: heavy thrusts and a blood beam keeps enemies at bay
Ritualist: dual-stick shooting and enemy manipulation
Druid: shape-shifting into wolf form
Sun Cultist: high damage, but friendly fire (literally)
Songweaver: support through creative use of melodies
Snowdancer: high mobility and freezing damage

Feature scans:
- Proton/Linux: score 35; verdict: Minor Tweaks Required; summary: Linux/Proton evidence in the filtered reviews is sparse. One review confirms a native SteamOS/Linux build is available and appreciated, but the native version supports only Xbox-like controllers, so the user switched to the Windows build through Steam Play/Proton. No other reviews mention Linux, Proton, SteamOS, Wine, or related compatibility problems. Overall, Linux support appears mostly functional with a small Proton workaround for controller compatibility.
- Steam Deck: score 80; verdict: Broken - Unreadable UI; summary: The audit finds mixed Steam Deck/Linux compatibility. Positive feedback highlights strong controller support and a native Linux version, but the most severe technical issue is a report of blank, unreadable text that prevents reading the interface. Another reviewer needed Steam Play/Proton as a workaround because the native version only supported Xbox-like controllers. Because unreadable UI is explicitly classified as Broken in the scoring criteria, the final score falls in the 70-100 range.

- Hardware Profile: No data
Feature extractions:
- Community Price:
  - Community fair range: $2.99 - $4.99
  - Reasoning: The reviews consistently reject the full asking price and frame the game as worthwhile mainly during deep discounts or bundles. One reviewer explicitly calls $15 highway robbery, another says it is not worth full price but is worth a discount price, and a third rejects even the 40 yuan regional price as not worth it while recommending waiting for 75% off. Positive comments about value are almost always tied to sale pricing or very cheap acquisitions, so the community fair base-game price is best estimated well below $15, around the low single-digit range. The range $2.99-$4.99 reflects this discount-dependent sentiment while leaving a small margin for non-sale value.
- Playtime Metrics:
  - Game completion: 1.0h
  - Story completion: 1.5h
  - Session length: 1.0h
  - Endgame: 10.0h
  - Reasoning: The run-length quotes show one complete playthrough or ending typically takes about 45-60 minutes, with a broader range up to roughly 90 minutes, so gameCompletion is set to 1 hour and sessionLength to 1 hour because individual runs are reported as around an hour. A translated review states the contained story takes about 1-2 hours, supporting storyCompletion at 1.5 hours. A translated Spanish review says seeing everything expands the short run to more than 10 hours, and other reviews mention Endless Arena/WAVE mode and many unlock runs, so endgame/replay completion is estimated at 10 hours.
- Time-to-fun:
  - Summary: Moon Hunters is reported as fun early, especially with friends in co-op, but the repetitive roguelite loop and unbalanced combat make enjoyment drop over time.
  - Stance: Fun then drops
  - Anchor: Playing in co-op with friends

  - Unlock drivers: Playing local co-op with friends or family; Remote Play Together; Unlocking new characters and story endings across runs; Collecting recipes and constellations; LAN co-op support added after online removal; Multiplayer dynamic making repetitive elements feel lighter
