Procedure
In a fictional time-space setting, players are summoned by a goddess to the Temple of Time to harness powers beyond this world and repel the Void's invasion. The Temple of Time serves as the last bastion and the player's base after each mission. From this sanctuary, players journey to various time-spaces corrupted by the Void, taking on the roles of heroes to rescue them and bring them back to the temple. Together, they march towards the Void-corrupted Demon Tower. In the Temple of Time, players can strategize, assemble their teams, and prepare for battle before embarking on their quests.
Heroes
In the main storyline, players will randomly encounter six legendary hero characters through the time teleportation roulette. They are: King Arthur (Greatsword), Catherine(Firearm), Jeanne (Lance), Guan Yu (Polearm), Hippolyta (Bow), and Oda Nobunaga (Katana).
Since each hero has unique talents and areas of expertise, and weapons and skills are independent, players can achieve astonishing synergy by experimenting with different weapon and skill combinations. Under certain conditions, skill points can be reallocated, unlocking even more possibilities and enjoyment.

We have introduced a new dynamic time pass system with four distinct time periods. Players enjoy the ability to switch characters mid-combo, dodge effectively, and execute powerful finishing moves, creating a rewarding and engaging experience.
- Flexible character customization (weight 0.46): Players appreciate the freedom to experiment with different builds and playstyles. The ability to reset skills at any time and the potential for switching weapon skill sets later on allows for extensive customization and adaptation to different challenges.
- Appealing pixel art visuals (weight 0.46): The game features visually appealing pixel art graphics with smooth animations and detailed character designs. The HD2D style and vibrant colors contribute to a unique and memorable aesthetic experience.
- Generally fun and enjoyable (weight 0.24): The game is generally considered fun and enjoyable, with some reviewers finding it addicting. The game offers flexibility in difficulty, allowing players to progress steadily or take shortcuts by defeating strong enemies.
- Rewarding grinding/farming mechanics (weight 0.14): The game offers satisfying grinding and farming mechanics, with rewarding treasure chests and hidden levels. One reviewer even discovered a method for infinitely farming chests, adding an element of exploit discovery to the gameplay.
- Responsive, active developers (weight 0.14): The developers are actively engaged with the community, responding to feedback, fixing bugs, and providing additional content. This level of support enhances the overall player experience and demonstrates a commitment to improving the game.
- Well-designed boss battles (weight 0.11): Boss battles are well-designed, offering a good sense of impact and requiring strategic play rather than simple attack spam. The JUST system provides valuable feedback to the player, and the bosses do not have artificially inflated health pools.
- Varied, interesting characters (weight 0.08): The game features a decent variety of characters, each with a small prologue to introduce them and allow players to level them up. Unlocking new characters also reveals visually appealing maps outside of the tower.
- Responsive controller support (weight 0.07): The game's controls are responsive, particularly when using a controller. Players report a satisfying sense of impact when using the controls, enhancing the overall gameplay experience.
- Nostalgic arcade-like feel (weight 0.06): The game evokes a nostalgic feeling reminiscent of classic arcade games. This arcade-like feel contributes to the game's unique and novel style.
- Engaging opening sequence (weight 0.04): The opening sequence with the knight is particularly engaging and emphasizes player skill. The music immediately grabs attention upon entering the game.
- Excellent value for price (weight 0.04): The game's price offers excellent value, especially considering it is made by Chinese developers. This point is primarily about supporting the developers and the game's value proposition.
- Black Myth: Wukong reference (weight 0.04): The game contains a reference to Black Myth: Wukong, which one reviewer enjoyed. This point is primarily a cultural reference.

Common complaints:
- Unpolished, repetitive, and tedious gameplay (weight 0.93): The game suffers from numerous issues that make it feel unfinished and unpolished. These include a repetitive gameplay loop, lack of enemy variety, tedious grinding, confusing level design, and a thin storyline. Many reviewers also cited the presence of bugs and glitches that detract from the overall experience.
- Unbalanced and tedious difficulty (weight 0.72): Many reviewers felt that the game's difficulty was unbalanced, with enemies being either too easy or too difficult to defeat. Some enemies have excessively high health, leading to prolonged and tedious combat. Additionally, healing potions are weak and ineffective, further exacerbating the difficulty.
- Tedious and unrewarding progression (weight 0.23): The game's equipment and skill systems are criticized for being uninspired and grindy. Upgrades provide only simple stat increases, and the enhancement process is tedious due to low success rates and inconvenient interfaces. This makes character progression feel unrewarding and repetitive.
- Insufficient guidance and unclear UI (weight 0.22): The game suffers from a lack of clear guidance and explanations. Tutorials end too quickly, and the functions of various facilities are poorly explained, requiring players to learn through trial and error. The UI also lacks clarity, making interactive elements indistinguishable from the background.
- Poor keyboard/mouse control scheme (weight 0.16): The game's control scheme and keybinding options are inadequate, particularly for keyboard and mouse users. Many reviewers found the default keybindings unintuitive and the lack of customization frustrating. Some even recommended using a controller for a better experience.
- Inconvenient inventory management (weight 0.16): The game's inventory management system is clunky and inconvenient. The backpack lacks essential features like a slot counter and item discarding, leading to lost items and frustration. Additionally, item drops are not always visible and require manual collection.
- Flawed execution mechanic (weight 0.08): The execution mechanic is flawed and difficult to use. The execution range is too small, leading to accidental hits instead of executions. Additionally, the gunslinger's third skill is ineffective against small monsters, and executions are not visually distinct enough.
- Attack input and responsiveness issues (weight 0.07): High attack speed can cause input issues, with characters stopping after a normal attack instead of charging. Attacking can be interrupted, causing the character to be unable to attack until dodging. This makes combat feel clunky and unresponsive.
- Flawed key acquisition mechanic (weight 0.06): The key acquisition mechanic is flawed, as opening the correct lamp switch immediately doesn't grant a key. The most rewarding activity is opening chests, but keys are obtained by defeating elites spawned by opening the wrong lamps, creating a difficult loop. This makes key acquisition feel unrewarding and frustrating.

Gameplay feedback:
- Flexible but generic characters (weight 0.3): The game features a flexible character and equipment system. Any character can equip any weapon, and skill points can be freely reallocated, allowing for diverse builds. However, this flexibility leads to characters lacking distinct roles, and new equipment sometimes feels generic compared to older sets.
- Game balance broken by bugs (weight 0.14): The reviewer used multiple bugs to gain advantages, such as infinite money and resources, and to guarantee equipment reinforcement. This indicates significant balance and testing issues.
- Puzzle-solving and strategic gameplay (weight 0.09): The game incorporates puzzle-solving elements and strategic choices, requiring players to understand the rules and patterns. This can be enjoyable and offers strategic depth, especially in skill usage and boss battles, encouraging experimentation.
- Staff weapon is highly effective (weight 0.06): The game features sword and staff weapon types, with the staff being recommended for its usability. Strategic positioning with the staff's charged basic attack can defeat bosses without taking damage.
- Evasion and counter-attack crucial (weight 0.05): The reviewer initially struggled with a War Knight, taking 40 minutes to defeat it by learning to evade and counter-attack. Close-quarters combat with evasion and counter-attacks was necessary, highlighting the importance of learning enemy attack patterns.
- Boss fights lack strategic depth (weight 0.03): Boss battles often devolve into brute force tactics using skills and health potions. They lack any required technique, suggesting a need for more strategic and engaging boss fight mechanics.
- Unclear weapon classifications (weight 0.03): Weapon categories are unclear, leading to confusion about their function. For example, the guandao is classified as a greatsword but functions more like a polearm, indicating a need for better categorization.
- Delayed access to key features (weight 0.03): Unlocking merchants and blacksmiths by climbing the tower slows down the game's positive feedback loop. This delays player satisfaction, as these features are essential for early progression.

Performance notes:
- Blurry full-screen mode (weight 0.03): The game's full-screen mode is reported to be blurry, which impacts visual clarity. This can be distracting and diminish the player's immersion in the game world. Addressing this issue would improve the visual experience.

Recommendations:
- Gameplay lacks long-term engagement (weight 0.51): Some reviewers mention generic gameplay and a lack of motivation to replay the game. Others highlight issues such as easy combat, a boring map, and strange design choices that make it hard to stay interested for long. These issues detract from the overall experience despite some positive aspects.
- Promising indie game, recommended (weight 0.38): Many reviewers recommend the game, citing its unique style, story, and gameplay. Some suggest supporting the developers due to their commitment, while acknowledging the need for further refinement and optimization. The game is considered a promising indie title with potential, especially given its reasonable price.
- Optimization and bugs are concerning (weight 0.34): Several reviewers express concerns about the game's current state, citing optimization issues, bugs, and generic gameplay. Some suggest that the developers should focus on polishing the existing game instead of spreading themselves too thin. One reviewer's confidence decreased due to limited content availability.
- Anticipation for future content (weight 0.1): Many reviewers express anticipation for future content, updates, or new games from the developers, indicating a positive outlook and interest in the game's continued development.
- Suggest QoL improvements (weight 0.05): Reviewers suggest specific quality of life improvements. One suggests adding skill upgrade effects to the description, while another proposes simplifying equipment-related operations with a one-button enhancement feature.
- Tribute to Octopath Traveler (weight 0.05): The game is seen as a tribute to "Octopath Traveler," with one reviewer highlighting it as a breakthrough in domestic game art and storytelling, drawing a direct comparison to a well-known title.
- Mixed opinions on core gameplay (weight 0.05): One reviewer praises the game as a great entry into the brawler/action RPG genre, focusing on solid gameplay and an appealing visual style. Conversely, another reviewer feels the game is rushed with very little going for it, presenting contrasting opinions on the game's quality.
- More quests would improve game (weight 0.03): A reviewer suggests that the game would benefit from the addition of more quests to enhance the player experience and provide more content.
- Guns/staves recommended in most cases (weight 0.03): A reviewer recommends using guns or staves unless encountering monsters with high magic resistance, providing a specific tactical tip for players.
- Unique charm and emotional impact (weight 0.03): A reviewer highly recommends the game for its unique charm and ability to deliver surprises and emotions, suggesting a strong positive emotional connection with the game.

Other player notes:
- Active development and sincerity (weight 0.13): The developers are actively updating the game with new content and engaging with the community, which is appreciated, especially considering the game's indie status. Players feel the developers are sincere and dedicated to the project.
- Concerns about team bandwidth (weight 0.05): The development team is working on multiple projects, including a Switch port and a larger RPG called Vonimir set in the same universe. This raises concerns about their capacity to effectively manage all projects simultaneously.
- Generic but solid art design (weight 0.05): The game features well-drawn character portraits, though they may be somewhat generic. The monster designs are typical of the fantasy genre, including creatures like snakemen, ratmen, and giant spiders.
- Hopes for philosophical depth (weight 0.04): The reviewer hopes the game's world view is based on Western fantasy with Chinese philosophical core, outputting meaningful Chinese ideas. This point is somewhat vague and speculative.
- Inconsistent character voice acting (weight 0.03): Only female characters have attack voices, which is perceived as an odd and incomplete design choice. This lack of parity in sound design detracts from the overall polish.
- Boss-focused achievement design (weight 0.03): The game's achievements are primarily earned by defeating bosses, with a hidden achievement for finding the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse. This focuses the achievement system on combat progression.
- Disappointed Kickstarter backer (weight 0.03): A Kickstarter backer expressed significant disappointment with the game. Without specific details, it is hard to determine the exact reasons, but this negative sentiment from an early supporter is noteworthy.
