About the Game
==============
**Cookard** is a cooking game where you run a restaurant by **stacking cards** to prepare and serve dishes to customers.
Prepare Dish
------------
Every dish requires a certain set of steps and ingredients, which can typically be completed by dragging ingredient cards (such as Egg, Dough, Honey) to utensil cards (such as Oven, Stove). You can always check the Recipes section if you're at loss. As the game progresses, you'll unlock more recipes to cook!
Serve Dish
----------
Dragging a 'Customer' card on top of a 'Table' card will reveal their desired dish. Serve them by placing their desired dish on top of them. Customers won't linger for very long, so make sure to deliver their dish in a timely manner!
Buy & Trade
-----------
Every dish requires a set of ingredient cards, and you'll need to stock up on them from time to time. Ingredients can be bought by placing a coins card on top of a store card, such as 'Store' or 'Fruit Stall'.
Sometimes you'll find yourselves surrounded by unecessary stuff. It's good idea to sell them in the 'Trade House' to get coins in return. You could also trade various items to get other items, such as an additional Table or Oven, etc.
Complete Quests
---------------
Completing quests earns you rewards, often including new additions to the restaurant, such as new utensils and recipes. Progress!
Hire Workers
------------
Tired of clicking Water Pump or Hand Crank? Hire workers to help you generate electricity!
Put them on Running Wheel to kickstart your machinations!
Automate Your Kitchen
---------------------
Who knows moving and sorting cards will be so tiring? Unlock magnet and use it to pull the cards from one place to another!

- Hardware Profile: No data
Feature extractions:
- Community Price:
  - Community fair range: $0.00 - $5.00
  - Reasoning: The reviews repeatedly emphasize that the game is free and still highly worthwhile. One reviewer explicitly states it would be worth $5, while others highlight the unbeatable price point and excellent value of a free game. No review suggests willingness to pay more than $5, so the community fair base-game range is $0–$5, with $0 reflecting the current free price and $5 as the upper bound of stated fair value.
- Playtime Metrics:
  - Game completion: 4.5h
  - Story completion: N/A
  - Session length: 3.0h
  - Endgame: N/A
  - Reasoning: The completion-time quotes place a full playthrough around 4.5 to 5 hours, and other reviews in the dataset similarly cluster between roughly 4 and 6 hours, so gameCompletion is estimated at 4.5 hours. The session-length quotes show single sittings of 2 hours and 4 hours, indicating a representative multi-hour session of about 3 hours. No separate story mode is described, so storyCompletion is null. Endgame/full automation is mentioned qualitatively as something players continue toward after the main goals, but no review provides a specific number of endgame-only hours, so endgame is null.

Unclear UI and incomplete localization exacerbate the confusion, leading to uncertainty about how to progress or use certain tools. - Stress (weight 0.05): Stress is caused by the constant stream of customers and the need to multitask between cooking, managing staff, and sorting cards without a pause option. The game's hectic pace and time management pressure create a relentless and overwhelming experience. Limited space and fast customer patience further intensify the stress.
- Annoyance (weight 0.02): Annoyance stems from awkward controls, like keyboard-only movement and card misplacement, as well as unintuitive automation setup. The active clicker-like progression and adorable restaurant management theme provide a delightful experience. Even those who don't typically enjoy card-based games find it enjoyable.
- Mild frustration (weight 0.02): Mild frustration arises from missing card explanations, unclear guidance, and incomplete translations that make some mechanics hard to understand. Tedious card sorting and high item stacks that are difficult to manage add to the annoyance. The initial learning curve also contributes to this feeling.
- Boredom (weight 0.01): Boredom sets in as the game becomes repetitive with a lack of story and goals beyond unlocking recipes. The repetitive conveyor of actions and high order repetition rate make the gameplay monotonous. Without a revenue mechanism or compelling objectives, motivation dwindles.
- Fatigue (weight 0.01): Fatigue results from the hand-tiring gameplay that requires constant dragging and clicking of cards, especially in later stages. Manual tasks like collecting eggs and pulling cards are physically demanding and can lead to tendinitis. The repetitive nature of these actions causes significant hand strain.

Playing without a mouse or not knowing how to use automation tools exacerbates the physical discomfort. The constant clicking required for gameplay results in near-tendonitis symptoms.
- Surprise (weight 0.01): Surprise stems from the game exceeding expectations, especially as a free title with high quality and addictive gameplay. The fast-paced nature contrasted with the expected relaxing experience caught players off guard. Sudden completion notifications also surprised players while they were still learning automation.
- Exhaustion (weight 0.01): Exhaustion is caused by endless mouse clicking and constant dish-making without time to organize. The fast customer refresh and repetitive actions leave players feeling drained. The lack of pauses and continuous employee management contribute to the tiring experience.}
