Info about NIGHT-RUNNERS™ PROLOGUE:

Official game description:

**DESCEND INTO THE UNDERWORLD OF JAPANESE STREET RACING**
Set in an unknown time between 1990-2009, you will navigate through the corrupt and shady power struggles of local street racing crews, all competing for control of their regions and to top the crew rankings.
* Extremely detailed customization, including Exterior, Interior, Wheels, Engine, and Handling
* Dynamic character dialogue; other racers will comment on your car, your recent races, new local records and your progression
* Full Photomode with VHS, old camera effects and motion blur
* Freely walk around your garage and the car meet (Parking Area) between races
* Adjustable screenshake and camera FOV
* Procedural game event scripting, high replay value
Inspired by the real life Japanese used car auctions, you will purchase your first vehicle by visiting the used car auctions and leaving with any decrepit car you can afford.
Walk around your safehouse and view all your hard-earned cars; change their oil, repair their engines and view their stats. Good maintenance will help your engine last longer after a long night of abuse and overheating.
Take parts off your cars, place them into storage and sell them for some extra cash or transfer them onto another vehicle you own. When you have some spare cash, take a trip to "Top Garage" to buy some new parts for your exterior, interior, wheels, engine and/or handling.
Progress through the underworld by entering a "PA"(Parking Area) and start negotiating wagers with any local crew members who care to race you. You are free to walk around any "PA" and bask in the thick atmosphere of smog and secondhand cigarette smoke.
The local racers are not impressed with newcomers and will make their disdain known. Impress them by winning and they will change their tone.
Earn cash by beating racers in 1vs1 wagers but be warned; these are real wagers and you will lose the money you bet if you lose the race! Some racers will take pity on you and give you a chance to win your money back by suggesting a 'double or nothing' race. It's your choice if you want to take that risk.

Common complaints:
- Confusing Map & GPS (weight 0.25): Players consistently report that the in-game map and GPS system are difficult to understand and follow. This often leads to missed turns, getting lost, and frustration, especially at intersections or during races. The visual clarity of the map and directions is frequently criticized.
- Poor UI & Tutorials (weight 0.17): The overall user interface and menu navigation are widely described as unintuitive, clunky, and slow, making simple tasks tedious. Additionally, the game lacks proper tutorials and clear guidance, leaving new players confused about progression and basic mechanics.
- Lacks Content & Polish (weight 0.16): Reviewers frequently note that the game feels unfinished, lacking sufficient content such as diverse event types, locations, and a compelling story mode. Many fundamental mechanics and general polish are also reported as missing or underdeveloped, leading to a repetitive and unrefined experience.
- Poor AI & Collision Physics (weight 0.16): Beyond general difficulty, the AI behavior in races is criticized for being inconsistent, with opponents sometimes crashing easily or acting erratically. Additionally, the collision physics are described as unrealistic, with cars bouncing off each other without proper damage modeling, impacting race integrity.
- Poor Respawn Mechanics (weight 0.15): A significant issue is the car respawn system, which often places the player's vehicle facing the wrong direction after a crash or reset. This frequently causes immediate losses in races, wastes time, and severely disrupts gameplay flow.
- Frequent Bugs & Glitches (weight 0.12): Players encounter numerous bugs, including game crashes, freezing at loading screens, and cars glitching. Specific issues include traffic spawning too close or disappearing, and cars not rendering far enough, leading to unexpected collisions.

Cars often switch lanes unexpectedly or block roads, leading to unavoidable collisions that significantly slow down the player and can cause race losses.
- Blurry Graphics & Performance (weight 0.09): Many players report issues with the game's visual clarity, describing graphics as blurry, too dark, or having excessive screen shake and grain effects. Performance is also a concern, with frequent stutters, frame drops, and difficulty running smoothly even on mid-range PCs.

Players report feeling like they are constantly driving on similar highway sections, with little variety in objectives or track layouts, leading to boredom over time.

- Excessive Loading & Cutscenes (weight 0.06): Players are frustrated by the frequent and excessively long loading screens and unskippable cutscenes. These interruptions occur too often, particularly when navigating menus, entering/exiting garages, or starting races, significantly breaking the game's flow and wasting time.
- Unclear Time Trial Objectives (weight 0.05): Time trial events are widely criticized for lacking clear instructions, route navigation, or visible markers. Players struggle to understand where to go or how to complete these challenges, and there are no in-game rewards, making them unengaging and frustrating.
