This indicates that there may be some compatibility issues that need to be addressed.
- Steam Deck: score 50; verdict: Tinkering Required; summary: The analysis of user feedback reveals several key issues with the software. Compatibility issues are a significant concern, with mixed reports on its functionality across different operating systems, particularly Linux. Feature extractions:
- Community Price:
  - Community fair range: $5.00 - $15.00
  - Reasoning: The evidence suggests that while the game is considered valuable and enjoyable, the community strongly recommends purchasing it at a discounted price. The frequent mentions of buying it on sale and the satisfaction expressed when it is obtained at a discount indicate that the community perceives the base price as somewhat high. The mentions of it being cheap or worth it at a discounted price suggest that a fair price range would be significantly lower than the current base price of $24.99.
- Playtime Metrics:
  - Game completion: 1000.0h
  - Story completion: 200.0h
  - Session length: N/A
  - Endgame: 1000.0h
  - Reasoning: The evidence provided contains multiple references to the extensive playtime users have spent on RPG Maker XP. The first quote mentions '1000's of hours' spent on the tool, indicating a high level of engagement and suggesting that game completion and endgame playtime are likely to be substantial. The second and third quotes reinforce this with similar claims of spending 'an egregious amount of hours' and 'a thousand hours or so.' The fourth quote suggests that at least 200 hours are needed to create something significant, which can be interpreted as a minimum threshold for story completion. However, specific session lengths are not explicitly mentioned in the evidence.
