Following your relentless campaign from Ipsilon to Krolmar, take to the Splintered Sea, where people known as “The Offlanders” occupy a series of islands. Annihilate Admiral Drasckar’s fleet of cutters and go toe-to-toe with his prized galleon. Slip beneath the waves, evading the Offlander’s traps and fending off creatures of the deep. Obliterate Drasckar’s fortress and unleash his horrifying nemesis!
The Splintered Sea brings a suite of new ocean themed blocks and limitless new possibilities!
In addition to the cutting edge technology of “Curved Wooden Blocks”, you’ll have access to:
* Floats that aid with buoyancy & submersion
* A Rudder for improved steering
*   A Ship Screw, for in-water propulsion
* A Retractable Sail for harnessing the wind
* A Harpoon Launcher for snagging your enemies
*   A Paddle for.. paddling
Everything you can do in Besiege, you can now do in water as well!
Besiege’s water employs elements of hydrodynamics to produce shape dependent drag, density based buoyancy and higher speed impacts. This means that the shape and density of your machines will affect how they move through water, giving an immersive feel to aquatic machine building and control.
On the ocean surface you’ll be buffeted about by waves and beneath you’ll encounter hazards, curiosities & nasty creatures.
The Splintered Sea expansion comes with its own sandbox for you to explore. Sail through a rugged archipelago, challenge a mighty galleon and terrorize local fishermen. Drop beneath the waves and explore the ancient ruins, or put your machine to the test on the water course.
Besiege’s water is also available in Multiplayer & the level editor, with all new objects for building your own unique environments and messing about with your friends!
