However, the customizable experience doesn’t stop at your loadout. Play to your strengths or call out your weaknesses by adjusting or fine tuning AI difficulty at any point to ensure you always have the right level of challenge.
**INVESTIGATE AND SURVIVE**
After a 10 year war, the People's Liberation Army repels invasion in Vietnam and through continued Soviet backing, arms manufacturing and exporting prosper; along with the country as a whole.
20 years later the Soviet Union collapses. Vietnam seeks a source of stabilization, hesitantly finding it in the United States, who soon takes it too far. In response, China funds a political party in their image, the Vietnamese Communist Union Party (VCUP), leading to the old government of Vietnam being overthrown in a coup.
The less-than-fair election sparks a full civil war. China allies with Russia to repel the West, sending in the Iron Guard Corps (IGC). Western nations send “humanitarian aid” via United Intercontinental Security (UICS), and sick of endless imperialism, the Vietnamese Liberation Front (VLF) rises among the local population to free Vietnam.
The civil war soon dissolves into a faction war. A mysterious black-ops corporation known as FANG sends YOU to the country to investigate the factions for a hidden microwave weapon, last located in the Red River Delta region.
YOU will be contracted by each faction to urge closer to finding the weapon while unearthing dishonest motivations and making difficult calls.
**MAKE CONTACT WITH THE LOCALS**
UNITED INTERCONTINENTAL SECURITY (UICS)
While some members offer aid and relief to the wartorn Vietnam, others have found destroying communism to be a more worthy goal. Funded by a large corporation, NATO holds the strings, using the UICS to expand its influence.
VIETNAMESE LIBERATION FRONT (VLF)
The growing movement of veterans, rebels, and old-government resources means the VLF has become a serious threat. VLF strategic, violent raids continue to succeed against invading factions and traitorous locals alike.
IRON GUARD CORPS (IGC)
The IGC, formed by China and Russia, fights to prop up a sympathetic government. Better for Vietnam to be supported by neighbors than the capitalist West. In order to avoid a full world war the IGC must balance military action and deniability.

Common complaints:
- Limited Content & Repetitive Gameplay (weight 0.67): Players consistently report a severe lack of content across various aspects of the game, including maps, missions, and weapon variety. This leads to repetitive gameplay and a feeling that the game is unfinished or a 'tech demo' rather than a full product, significantly impacting its value and replayability.
- Broken Audio & Sound Design (weight 0.51): A pervasive and critical issue is the broken audio system, particularly concerning enemy sound localization and distance. Players struggle to accurately determine enemy positions, leading to frustrating and immersion-breaking encounters. This fundamental flaw severely impacts tactical gameplay.
- Poor Performance & Graphics (weight 0.32): The game suffers from significant performance and optimization issues, resulting in low and inconsistent frame rates, stuttering, and crashes, even on high-end PCs. Visual quality is also frequently criticized for blurry textures, graphical glitches, and poor clarity, making the game visually unappealing and difficult to play.
- Inconsistent & Poor AI (weight 0.23): The enemy AI is widely criticized for its inconsistency and poor implementation. It ranges from being overly simplistic and easily exploitable to exhibiting 'psychic' awareness and unrealistic accuracy, often leading to unfair or unchallenging encounters that detract from the tactical experience.
- Unfinished State & Slow Development (weight 0.15): Players express strong concerns about the game's unfinished state and slow development progress. Many feel the game was released prematurely, resembling an 'alpha test' or 'tech demo,' with a perceived lack of meaningful updates and developer communication, leading to doubts about its future.
- Numerous Bugs & Glitches (weight 0.13): The game is plagued by numerous bugs, including visual glitches, texture issues, and game-breaking problems like getting stuck or invisible barriers. Combat-specific bugs, such as enemies being 'bullet sponges' or not registering hits, further detract from the gameplay experience.

Players report crashes occurring shortly after starting a match or during loading screens, leading to significant frustration and loss of progress.

Gameplay feedback:
- PvE Tarkov-like Experience (weight 0.27): The game is frequently compared to 'Escape from Tarkov' but is exclusively PvE, offering a more casual, simplified, and less stressful extraction shooter experience without PvP elements. It's often described as 'Tarkov-lite' or 'Tarkov for dads,' focusing on solo or co-op play against AI.
- Highly Customizable AI Difficulty (weight 0.23): The game offers extensive and granular AI difficulty customization, allowing players to adjust various parameters like perception, reaction speed, and accuracy. While generally competent, AI behavior can be inconsistent, ranging from easy to defeat to highly challenging and tactical, including flanking maneuvers.
- Limited but Varied Maps (weight 0.15): The game currently offers two distinct maps: Quarry (an outdoor jungle/military base) and Bunker (a dark, indoor, close-quarters complex). While the maps are well-designed and offer varied experiences, the limited number of maps and repetitive missions are noted as areas for improvement.
- Robust Solo & Co-op Play (weight 0.14): The game strongly supports both single-player and cooperative play with up to four players. Co-op is highlighted as a more enjoyable experience, with bot numbers scaling with player count, and it works smoothly, allowing friends to play together without PvP pressure.

- Faction Reputation System (weight 0.05): The game includes a faction reputation system with three factions, each offering missions and unlocking new gear tiers (up to Tier 4). Completing missions for one faction can affect reputation with others, and players can eventually max out all factions.
- Tactical & Slow-Paced Gameplay (weight 0.04): The game emphasizes tactical, slow-paced gameplay, requiring players to plan loadouts, navigate carefully, and make smart positioning decisions to survive. It encourages stealth and strategic thinking rather than a run-and-gun approach.

Performance notes:
- Inconsistent Performance Across Systems (weight 0.13): Player experiences with game performance are highly inconsistent, ranging from smooth 100+ FPS on high-end systems to significant stuttering and low frame rates even on powerful hardware. This suggests a lack of consistent optimization across various configurations, leading to a mixed bag of performance outcomes.
