- Enjoyable Sect Management (weight 0.09): The sect management system is a highlight, providing an enjoyable experience of running a sect and cultivating disciples. The remote control features for sect operations are also appreciated for their convenience.
- Flexible Turn-Based Combat (weight 0.09): The turn-based combat system is well-received for its flexibility, strategic depth, and elemental interactions. It's considered relatively simple to grasp while offering sufficient challenge with proper leveling.
- Engaging Crafting & Cultivation (weight 0.07): Alchemy, artifact crafting, and planting are well-developed and enjoyable activities. While leveling disciples and crafting can be time-consuming, players find these long-term cultivation aspects rewarding.
- Appealing Art Style (weight 0.05): The game's art style, particularly the character art and traditional Chinese aesthetic of scenes and UI, is generally considered appealing. This contributes positively to the overall immersion.

- Beneficial Save/Load Mechanic (weight 0.04): The ability to save and load (SL) before critical actions like robbing or alchemy is highly valued. This mechanism helps players optimize resource acquisition and ensure desired outcomes.
- Concern Over Abandonment (weight 0.03): Some players express concern that the game might be abandoned, despite its initial promise and potential. This sentiment suggests a desire for continued development and support.
- Automated Gameplay Features (weight 0.02): The addition of automatic combat and the expectation of future AI for sect management and disciples indicate a move towards more convenient gameplay features.
- Developer Promises Noted (weight 0.02): Players acknowledge the official promises made by the developers. This indicates an awareness of the development roadmap and expectations for future content.
- Improved Chore Proficiency (weight 0.02): The improvement in chore proficiency is a positive change, indicating that quality-of-life updates are appreciated by the player base.

Common complaints:
- Poor guidance and frustrating experience (weight 0.89): Players consistently report a lack of clear guidance and intuitive design, leading to confusion, excessive trial-and-error, and a generally frustrating and un-fun experience. Many core mechanics are unclear, requiring external guides or extensive experimentation.
- Tedious disciple and sect management (weight 0.82): The sect management and disciple cultivation systems are overly manual and tedious. Players feel like 'nannies' or 'tool-users' rather than leaders, constantly micromanaging disciples' basic needs, breakthroughs, and equipment, which detracts from the protagonist's own progression and enjoyment.
- Low overall game quality (weight 0.73): The game's overall quality, including graphics, art style, and combat visuals, is perceived as rough, unpolished, and below expectations for a full release. This contributes to a general feeling of the game being 'dead' or 'lifeless'.
- Performance issues and slow movement (weight 0.69): Players frequently experience performance issues such as lag, freezing, and slow map traversal. The movement system on the large map is also criticized for being clunky and inefficient, leading to a lot of wasted time.
- Difficult material and recipe acquisition (weight 0.69): Finding necessary materials and alchemy recipes is a significant pain point, often requiring extensive searching without clear guidance. The randomness of alchemy outcomes and material drops further exacerbates this frustration.
- Limited and frustrating NPC interactions (weight 0.67): NPC interactions are limited, repetitive, and often frustrating, with NPCs constantly demanding items and providing unhelpful notifications. The world feels empty due to a lack of meaningful NPC and character interactions.
- Weak and short main story (weight 0.66): The main story is described as too short, thin, and unengaging, lacking depth and immersion. This contributes to a feeling of low replayability and a lack of purpose in the game.
- Tedious cultivation system (weight 0.63): The cultivation system is criticized for being overly reliant on monster drops for experience and lacking depth in techniques. The progression feels tedious, involving excessive farming and crafting, rather than engaging cultivation experiences.
- Unbalanced and shallow combat (weight 0.63): Combat mechanics suffer from balance issues, limited skill diversity, and a lack of strategic depth. Many professions feel useless, and the combat system often forces manual intervention due to poor auto-battle performance.
- Game abandoned by developers (weight 0.18): Many players suspect the game has been abandoned by the developers due to a prolonged lack of updates. This has led to concerns about the game's unfinished state and its future, with some calling it a 'half-finished scam'.
- Unintuitive and poor UI design (weight 0.17): The user interface is widely criticized for being unintuitive, unrefined, and difficult to navigate. Issues include poor button visibility, confusing layouts, and counter-intuitive control schemes, significantly hindering usability.
- Critical bugs and crashes (weight 0.04): Players have encountered critical bugs, including game crashes and main quests failing to trigger, making the game unplayable for some. This indicates significant stability issues.
- Imbalanced reward system (weight 0.04): The balance of rewards is skewed, with dungeons providing excessive experience and rewards compared to other activities like planting and artifact crafting, making other systems feel less valuable.

Gameplay feedback:
- Crucial Alchemy System (weight 0.96): Alchemy is crucial for progression, especially for breakthrough elixirs. Players can blind-refine elixirs using five elements, and quality (low, mid, high grade) is determined by fusion. Specific talents and high-grade ingredients significantly improve alchemy outcomes.
- Strategic Turn-Based Combat (weight 0.96): The game features turn-based strategy combat with a timeline system, emphasizing skill cooldowns, stat stacking (spell power, attack, critical hit), and a five-character party setup. It combines elements of traditional cultivation with accessible strategy.
- Flexible Talent Acquisition (weight 0.91): Talents are vital for character customization. Players can acquire, upgrade, or remove talents at the Daoist Temple using merit points, with the ability to refresh random talent options infinitely. There's a limit to the number of active talents.
- Spirit Root Mechanics (weight 0.91): Spirit roots influence initial resistance, damage, and resistance caps, upgrading with major realm breakthroughs. While important for elemental interactions and planting, they do not restrict learning heart methods or spells.
- Quest-Based Disciple Recruitment (weight 0.91): Recruiting special disciples like Yaoji, Yu, Tushan Huahua, Quafu, and Hou Yi is tied to completing specific main and side quests. These characters often bring unique benefits or unlock further content.
- Equipment & Artifact Importance (weight 0.88): Equipment, particularly main magic artifacts, is crucial for combat and spell usage. The first equipment slot is for the main artifact, and some spells require specific ones. Traits like 'Artifact Master' allow using multiple auxiliary artifact skills.
- Dungeon Experience Grinding (weight 0.83): Dungeons are the primary source for grinding experience materials, with 'dungeon fruits' being an effective way to level up characters quickly. This provides a clear path for character progression.
- Open World Exploration (weight 0.81): The game encourages free exploration across its maps, suggesting a story-driven experience that benefits from players discovering content at their own pace rather than being strictly linear.

Performance notes:
- No 2K resolution support (weight 0.02): A significant number of players reported that the game does not support 2K resolution. This technical limitation negatively impacts the visual experience for users with 2K monitors.
- Monster strength scales with time (weight 0.02): Players noted a mechanic where monster strength scales with 'Tai Chu Yuan Nian' time. This dynamic difficulty increase impacts gameplay progression and strategy.
