Official game description:
CYBERFRAGS '69 - AS IS - Now FREE
Hello, DAS here.
Welcome to Cyberfrags '69, my silly little love letter to movement shooters. I obsessed over this project for years, making it everything I could. Until I couldn't. Life has moved me on from this project, and while I could keep deluding myself that I'll get back to it one day... I'd rather just be proud of what I've accomplished. And for that matter, the price tag was only ever attached to a silly pipedream. So now it's free! If you find this page, and decide to give it a go, have fun!
I'd also like to say a HUGE thank you to everyone who supported me while this was under active development. Cyberfrags '69 would never have been what it is with you!
It's time to get your blood up with some lightning-speed FPS action! Double-jump, wall-run, slide, and shoot your way to victory in PvP, Co-op, and single-player. In CF69, the fastest way to die is to stop moving. So don't.
Single-player:
The Cyber-Nazis have come, and Cyber-Frank is pissed. Grab your hyperspace arsenal and get to fragging ranks of fascist assholes.
Multiplayer:
Play classic game modes like Free-For-All, Capture-the-Flag, and Team-Deathmatch, or test your platforming skills in Death-Relay. Small 6-player maps keep things ultra-fast, so you'd best start practicing, You're gonna need it.

- Hardware Profile: No data
Feature extractions:
- Community Price:
  - Community fair range: $5.00 - $15.00
  - Reasoning: The reviews give one explicit price anchor: $5 is described as a great deal and a strong recommendation point. Other reviews say the game is worth the money, worth buying at full price, and even worth full price or more. This suggests the community sees the base game as a reasonably priced indie title, with $5 as an attractive lower bound and a typical indie full-price upper bound around $15. Because no current base price or exact full-price amount is provided, the upper estimate remains moderate.
- Playtime Metrics:
  - Game completion: 1.3h
  - Story completion: 0.5h
  - Session length: N/A
  - Endgame: N/A
  - Reasoning: The reviewer stating singleplayer lasts about 1-1.5 hours supports gameCompletion at roughly 1.25 hours for the completable singleplayer content, and another review confirms finishing the singleplayer. The separate report that the four current campaign missions took around 30 minutes supports storyCompletion at about 0.5 hours for the campaign/story portion. No review provides a numeric typical session length, and no review quantifies time spent in wave survival, endless modes, or other endgame content, so sessionLength and endgame are null.
- Time-to-fun:
  - Summary: The game is most consistently described as fun immediately in its fast singleplayer campaign, with crisp movement and strong onboarding. Multiplayer is often frustrating or dead, so enjoyment depends heavily on mode and whether friends or Discord lobbies are available.
  - Stance: Fun immediately
  - Anchor: Switching to the singleplayer campaign
  - Time to anchor: N/A
  - Friction: Jumping straight into multiplayer leaves controls and keys unexplained; Tutorial describes mechanics without guiding how to execute them; No indicator for when speed boosts will end; Multiplayer weapon pickups can turn into useless health at round start; Visual bugs in co-op cause viewmodel flickering; Multiplayer servers are often dead or unavailable
  - Unlock drivers: Campaign onboarding teaches skills needed for multiplayer; Singleplayer and co-op PvE practice improve accuracy and movement flow; Joining Discord lobbies makes multiplayer games available; Playing with friends provides sustained content
  - Conditions: Playing singleplayer or campaign first rather than jumping directly into multiplayer; Having friends who own the game for multiplayer; Joining the Discord for multiplayer lobbies; Choosing PvE or singleplayer when multiplayer is dead or too difficult; Using co-op or PvE to practice accuracy and movement flow before PvP; Accepting short, low-cost weekend-style fun

- Active solo developer updates (weight 0.41): The solo developer is commended for releasing updates almost daily and being highly responsive to the community. This level of engagement is seen as a major positive.
- Fast-paced shooter mix (weight 0.34): The game is often described as a blend of Titanfall 2 and Quake/Unreal Tournament, but twice as fast. This unique combination appeals to fans of fast movement shooters.
- Unique weapon mechanics (weight 0.33): Many weapons feature unique secondary fire modes and overheat-based ammo systems instead of magazines. This adds depth and variety to combat.
- Worth the price (weight 0.27): Players feel the game offers excellent value for money, often stating it is worth full price or more. This sentiment appears consistently in the reviews.
- Solid singleplayer campaign (weight 0.19): The singleplayer campaign is described as interesting and enjoyable. It provides a satisfying experience alongside the multiplayer modes.
- Well-designed levels (weight 0.19): Level designs are frequently highlighted as top-notch and well-thought-out. Good level design enhances the overall gameplay experience.

Common complaints:
- Low Player Count and Dead Multiplayer (weight 0.97): Players report a very low player count, empty server browsers, and difficulty finding online matches. The multiplayer is often described as dead or stillborn.
- Little Content and Abandoned (weight 0.71): The game is frequently described as having very little content, feeling abandoned, and incomplete. There are only three levels and limited modes.
- Inadequate Tutorials and Guidance (weight 0.58): The game poorly explains mechanics, such as the Akimbo ability, wall-running, and Shart-Bounce. Tutorials mention mechanics without guiding players, leaving them to guess.
- Short Campaign and Singleplayer (weight 0.55): Many reviews mention that the campaign and singleplayer experience are too short, with some completing it in under an hour. This leaves players wanting more content.
- Movement Mechanics Problems (weight 0.52): Movement feels unpolished, with issues such as unreliable wall climbing, speed halting on smaller maps, and restrictive speed gain compared to Titanfall 2. Dash is limited and luck-based.
- Lack of Polish and Unfinished (weight 0.48): Many reviews note a lack of polish, obvious issues, and an unfinished feel. The game could use more refinement.
- Wave Survival Issues (weight 0.41): Wave Survival mode is criticized for ludicrously difficult AI, no pausing in solo play, long round start times, and punishing one-hit deaths. Enemies are stronger than in singleplayer.
- Technical and Glitches (weight 0.4): Players encounter various technical issues, including crashes on startup, visual bugs, checkpoint glitches, and inability to shoot or stop moving. Some get stuck and cannot progress.
- Weapon and Balance Issues (weight 0.39): Weapon balance is inconsistent, with many guns easily outclassed and some not viable. Splash damage feels too small, and guns pile up in the hotbar.
- Lack of Multiplayer Features (weight 0.39): Multiplayer lacks bot AI, better lobbies, and indicators. Weapon pickups change into useless items, and progression-based guns are not explained.
- UI and Information Clarity (weight 0.38): The game lacks clear indicators for speed boost endings, weapon ADS capability, and score tracking. On-screen clutter and unclear weapon effects are also issues.
- Steam Modding and Updates (weight 0.32): There is no Steam modding scene, and updates are sparse. Changelogs are posted on Discord frequently but on Steam only weekly.
- In-Game Systems and Progression (weight 0.3): The game uses a Discord pickup system, and multiplayer progression is not explained. Weapon slots and gun pickups are cumbersome.
- Multiplayer Imbalance and Difficulty (weight 0.27): PvP is unbalanced, feeling like luck and chaos rather than skill. Veterans dominate, and some stages are harsh and unfair for newcomers.
- Visual and Environmental Issues (weight 0.25): Environments and arenas are not visually appealing, with some areas like cyber-verse being hard to look at. The environment lacks appeal.
- Singleplayer Enemy Roster Lacking (weight 0.25): Singleplayer enemy variety is lacking, with no bosses yet. The AI can be stupid, and gun balance is inconsistent.
- High Difficulty and Unfairness (weight 0.19): High enemy density and strict timings make the game demanding on reaction speed. Some stages feel too harsh and unfair for newcomers.
- Control Binding Limitations (weight 0.19): Basic movement keys are not rebindable, and weapon slots cannot be bound to specific keys. This limits customization.
- Pause Menu and Spawning Bugs (weight 0.18): Escape opens the pause menu but does not close it. Checkpoint spawning sometimes places the player in the wrong direction.
- System Requirements Overshot (weight 0.16): System requirements are overshot, and the game crashes a bit on startup.

Gameplay feedback:

- Quake and Titanfall inspiration (weight 0.31): The game combines elements from Quake and Titanfall, blending Quake's speed with Titanfall's movement mechanics. It also draws from Tribes in its movement design.
