Feature scans:
- MTX: score 15; verdict: Fair / No predatory monetization evidence; summary: The reviews primarily complain about the upfront price and discuss paid DLC or expansion content, including regret over a DLC purchase and announced difficulty tuning tied to DLC. No review provides direct evidence of an in-game cash shop, real-money gacha, loot boxes, paid power, paid convenience, battle pass, or currency obfuscation. Per the audit rules, base-price and traditional DLC complaints do not establish predatory monetization, so the score remains in the fair range.

- Hardware Profile: No data
Feature extractions:
- Community Price:
  - Community fair range: $20.00 - $35.00
  - Reasoning: Reviewers repeatedly reject the $40-$55 full-price range, while citing $20 as clearly worthwhile and around $30 as a more appropriate indie-game value. Some would stretch to $35-$40 for the multiplayer experience, but the dominant fair-value signal sits below the current high price point. This supports a community fair base-game range of roughly $20-$35.
- Playtime Metrics:
  - Game completion: 25.0h
  - Story completion: N/A
  - Session length: 3.0h
  - Endgame: 15.0h
  - Reasoning: The 20-30 hour all-content estimate supports a gameCompletion value near 25 hours. No review gives a separate story-only completion time, so storyCompletion is null. Direct session reports of about three hours and a co-op session of almost five hours support a typical session length near 3 hours, while a single dungeon can exceed an hour. The 10-20 hour character-maxing statement supports an endgame estimate near 15 hours, with perfect gear taking longer.
- Time-to-fun:
  - Summary: Legendary Tales often starts slow and confusing, then becomes fun after players adapt to its pace and controls over a few hours. Some players click immediately, while others report the loop turns repetitive and less fun after the early hours.
  - Stance: Clicks after
  - Anchor: After adapting to the slow pace and learning the controls

  - Friction: Slow locomotion and combat pacing; Long and confusing tutorial with dense messaging; Core interactions such as pulling objects are not well explained; Janky controller calibration, UI issues, and tutorial bugs; Repetitive enemies and dungeon environments; Co-op XP sharing and progression imbalance
  - Unlock drivers: Adapting to the slow pace after the initial shock; Learning the thumbstick pull and other controls through practice; Giving the game another hour or a second chance; Finding a satisfying build and combat style
  - Conditions: Tolerance for slow movement and combat pace; Patience with the long, dense tutorial; Willingness to learn poorly explained controls such as pulling objects; Prior fast-paced VR experience may make the opening feel worse; Willingness to retry after an initial bad first hour; Playing cooperatively with friends; Tolerance for repetitive enemies and dungeon layouts
