**… AND MORE!**
The Animaze indie engine is the result of years of work and thoughtful feedback from the community starting with FaceRig in 2014. The three people currently building Animaze have been pioneers in this space, and have been in service of this community for a very long time. Whether working on FaceRig or Animaze, the tech built by us and our former colleagues since 2014 has brought to life and inspired many features used across the VTubing world in many apps today.
A recent example is Multiplayer Rooms with high-quality full-body motion and filming camera controls, for avatar concerts. This is a feature that many VTubers still think does not yet exist for free anywhere in the world, (not even on apps powered by corporate engines), when it has been available here, on the free tier, starting with March 2023.
Aside from FaceRig, Animaze remains, as far as we know, the only indie-engine VTubing app worldwide that propelled some of its users who were using the included stock avatars, to millions of followers. Whether we are talking about Obit or MagLobao on YouTube, or PuffPuff on TikTok, we are proud of opening this path in a truly independent fashion, without the help of any large commercial game engine, and organically with no marketing help from talent management agencies.
If you are a long-time supporter, thank you!
If you are finding us now for the first time, we hope you will join us on this ride.

Feature scans:
- MTX: score 90; verdict: Predatory Monetization; summary: The game is heavily criticized for its monetization strategies, including the use of subscription models, paywalls, and virtual currency systems. Users feel that these strategies are designed to continuously extract money and are seen as greedy and unfair. The overall sentiment is that the game's monetization is predatory and designed to maximize revenue at the expense of user experience.
- Proton/Linux: score 90; verdict: Broken / Unsupported; summary: The game currently lacks Linux support, which is a major drawback for Linux users. There are no mentions of successful workarounds or positive experiences with Proton or other compatibility tools.
- Steam Deck: score 90; verdict: Broken; summary: The analysis of user feedback reveals significant issues with Linux support and stability. Users are frustrated with the lack of Linux compatibility, which is crucial for the Steam Deck experience. Additionally, frequent crashes and stability problems have been reported, further degrading the user experience.

- Hardware Profile: No data
Feature extractions:
- Community Price:
  - Community fair range: $0.00 - $10.00
  - Reasoning: The evidence suggests that users find the free version of the product to be excellent, implying that the base price should be low or even free. The mention of a monthly subscription being worth it for extra features indicates that users are willing to pay a small amount for additional content. The criticism of the renewal price tripling and not being worth it suggests that users are sensitive to price increases and expect fair pricing for the features provided. The purchase of the old, discontinued product on sale indicates that users are looking for value and are willing to pay a reasonable price for a product they find useful.
- Playtime Metrics:
  - Game completion: N/A
  - Story completion: N/A
  - Session length: 1.5h
  - Endgame: N/A
  - Reasoning: The evidence provides direct mentions of playtime metrics. The first quote mentions 8,000 hours of usage, which is an outlier and likely represents total usage over years, not typical playtime metrics. The second quote mentions over 1,200 hours, which is also an outlier. The third and fourth quotes mention several hundred hours and a few hours respectively, which are more typical of total usage but still not specific to completion times. Given the lack of specific evidence for typical playtime metrics, most fields are set to null.
