About the Game
==============
In this classic point-and-click adventure anthology you follow the path of Dale Vandermeer, a homicide detective, as he investigates the death of a woman and finds himself drawn into the mysterious world of Rusty Lake.
Cube Escape was Rusty Lake's first series of games, introducing the Rusty Lake universe. Heavily inspired by TV series Twin Peaks. All games will be updated, preserved and bundled on Steam for a small price, to survive the end of the Flash Games era. The Cube Escape Collection will contain 9 chapters: Seasons, The Lake, Arles, Harvey's Box, Case 23, The Mill, Birthday, Theatre and The Cave.
Thanks for your support!
**PLEASE NOTE: These games do not contain any new content from their original versions (besides achievements, a new hint system and translations)!**

Feature scans:
- Wiki: score 50; verdict: The Student; summary: Player reviews consistently indicate a strong dependency on external guides for completing puzzles and unlocking hidden achievements. The game's abstract, non-traditional puzzle logic and lack of clear instructions for specific sections force players to seek walkthroughs. A majority of complaints center on the need for achievement guides tied to cross-game hidden content.

- Hardware Profile:
  - Summary: The single cohort of players with less than 8GB VRAM (specifically 6GB) reports good performance and a smooth experience.
  - Sample size: 22 (2% coverage)
  - Audience skew: Review sample is mostly Windows-based.
  - Windows <8GB VRAM (positive, 13 reports): Players with 6GB VRAM report a smooth and complete experience, praising the unique art style and narrative.
  - Caveats: 22 of 1056 reviews expose hardware metadata.; Review sample is mostly Windows-based.
Feature extractions:
- Community Price:
  - Community fair range: $4.99 - $9.99
  - Reasoning: The community consistently praises the collection for its exceptional value. Reviews highlight that even at full price (currently $4.99) it is worth it, and many describe it as the best value in its genre. This suggests that the current base price is seen as very fair, and the community would likely accept a higher price point, up to around $10, while still considering it a good deal. No evidence indicates overpricing, supporting a range from $4.99 to $9.99.
- Playtime Metrics:
  - Game completion: 7.0h
  - Story completion: 7.0h
  - Session length: 1.1h
  - Endgame: N/A
  - Reasoning: Multiple reviews report completing the entire collection with all achievements in 5-11 hours, with a cluster around 7-8 hours for full completion. The main story/campaign completion is essentially the same as game completion since the game is linear puzzle solving with no separate story mode; one review states '7hrs 100%' and another says '8 hours and 100% achievements', indicating story completion equals full completion. Session length is derived from reviews like 'Each of the 9 games takes 45 mins to an hour and a half to do on the first try' and 'typically taking between 20 minutes to an hour to complete', so average session is about 1-1.25 hours per game. Endgame is null because the game has no post-story content; achievements are collected during playthroughs, and one review mentions replaying for secrets but not endgame hours.
