Info about CyberCorp:

Official game description:
From Developer
--------------
Brutal top-down loot shooter. Similar games can be counted on one hand, as action games typically fall into the first-person or third-person perspective genres.
I tried to make something similar to The Division, Warframe or Destiny but on a smaller scale and from a top-down perspective, I played this game for hundreds of hours so that affected the development process :)
My game encourages an aggressive and push-forward playstyle, allowing you to combine various techniques and create impressive equipment-based combos.
Everyone can create their own build, whether it’s close combat, skills, or long-range sniping. If you enjoy top-down action games with diverse loot, then CyberCorp is exactly what you need.
You are a CyberCorp fighter. In your hands lies a unique and dangerous technology - the Synth, a remotely controlled combat shell.
Are you ready to take your weapon and return order to the streets of the city?
Flexible progression system
---------------------------
Upgrade your equipment using a card-based system of weapon and armor enhancements. Build and customize to match your playstyle.
Multiplayer

Play story and side missions with friends or random players. Equip smart and make builds for multiplauer combos.
Slums, factories, laboratories, elite residential complex

Fast paced gameplay

- Interesting and varied locations (weight 0.06): The game features diverse and interesting locations that keep the gameplay fresh and engaging. The levels are well-developed and filled with loot and enemies, providing plenty to explore and discover.
- Customizable difficulty and options (weight 0.05): The game offers various difficulty levels and customization options, allowing players to tailor the experience to their preferences. The game is easy to pick up but offers depth for those who want to master it.
- Story and humorous side quests (weight 0.05): The game includes a story mode with side quests, funny dialogues, and easter eggs. While not a primary focus, the story provides additional content and humor for players to enjoy.
- Plays well on PC and Steam (weight 0.04): The game is enjoyable on both PC and Steam Deck. This provides flexibility for players who want to play on different platforms.
- Combines elements from other games (weight 0.04): The game blends elements from various popular titles like Destiny, Neon Chrome, and Warframe. This combination of familiar mechanics and features may appeal to fans of those games.

Common complaints:
- Frequent progress-blocking bugs (weight 0.45): Numerous reviews cite bugs that impede progress, such as falling through the map, getting stuck in textures, and enemies not spawning. These issues disrupt gameplay and require restarts. The frequency and severity of these bugs significantly detract from the overall experience.
- Unpolished UI/UX (weight 0.39): The game has rough edges and needs some UX (user experience) improvements. The UI is unintuitive and confusing, with the HP display being hard to read. These issues detract from the overall polish of the game.
- Poor multiplayer experience (weight 0.16): The game lacks popularity, making it difficult to find players for online co-op. Some players experienced issues with multiplayer connectivity, being unable to host or join games. This limits the potential for cooperative play.
- Generic and uninspired story (weight 0.12): The game's story is criticized for being generic, unoriginal, and boring. Characters are described as lifeless, and dialogues are poorly written. The narrative lacks depth and engagement, making it easily skippable.
- Invasions are poorly balanced (weight 0.09): Invasions are cited as being poorly balanced, with enemies being too tanky and dealing excessive damage. This often results in one-shot kills and a frustrating experience, especially in offline mode. The frequency and difficulty of invasions disrupt the flow of gameplay.
- Boring and repetitive bosses (weight 0.07): Boss fights are described as boring and lacking variety. Some bosses can be defeated by simply clicking, while others are damage sponges with annoying summons. The final boss encounter is a significant low point.
- Flawed weapon upgrade system (weight 0.07): The weapon upgrade system is flawed and confusing. Positive effects are heavily reduced, making it feel like an attempt to avoid negative effects rather than improve the weapon. The reload system also disrupts the combat flow.
- Useless shop/currency system (weight 0.05): The in-game shop and currency system are deemed useless. The shop only sells low-quality items that can be easily found for free during missions. This makes the currency largely pointless and diminishes the sense of progression.
- Poor sound design (weight 0.05): The sound design is criticized for being terrible and lacking impact. Gun sounds need improvement to enhance the shooting experience. The music is described as monotonous and repetitive.
- Unclear stat descriptions (weight 0.04): There is a lack of clear descriptions for character stats and characteristics. This makes it difficult for players to understand how certain stats affect gameplay. This lack of clarity hinders build customization and optimization.
- Poor lighting in dark areas (weight 0.04): Some areas are excessively dark, and the flashlight does not activate in all dark locations. This makes it difficult to navigate and explore these areas. The lighting could use some work to improve visibility.
- Difficulty spikes lategame (weight 0.03): The game's difficulty spikes significantly at level 60, requiring the use of a cheat to progress. This indicates a balancing issue in the late game. Reaching level 50 does not guarantee better loot on difficult missions, and the player may still receive common items.
- Data loss from reset option (weight 0.03): The reset option in the language settings resets not only the options but also the character progress, causing loss of saved game data. This is a critical bug that can lead to significant frustration for players.
- Incomplete translation (weight 0.03): The game is not fully translated into some languages, with a significant portion of the text remaining in English. This can make it difficult for players who are not proficient in English to fully understand and enjoy the game.
- Repetitive mission structure (weight 0.02): Missions involving holding a point were disappointing. The random missions lack variety in their structure. This contributes to the repetitive nature of the gameplay.

Gameplay feedback:
- Isometric looter-shooter with co-op (weight 0.27): The game is a top-down/isometric looter shooter with ARPG elements, drawing comparisons to Diablo and RUINER. Players progress through levels, collect loot, and engage in combat using a mix of ranged and melee weapons. Co-op functionality is available, enhancing the experience.
- Varied mission structure, some repetition (weight 0.24): The game features a campaign mode with both main story missions and procedurally generated side missions. Missions have varying objectives, difficulty levels, and reward tiers. However, some reviewers noted that the random missions can become repetitive due to a limited number of templates.
- Extensive character customization system (weight 0.15): The game features a character build system with extensive customization options. Players can modify weapons and gear through cards, passive skills, and replaceable modifications. Synths (robots) can be customized with different parts to adapt to the player's style, allowing for diverse loadouts.
- Fast-paced, brutal action combat (weight 0.09): Players control an agent-avatar or cyborg ninja mercenary who completes missions while fighting hordes of enemies. The game features fast-paced, brutal action with a rating system that rewards aggressive enemy takedowns. Players can combine melee and ranged combat with teleports, slides, and executions.
- Rewarding exploration, persistent loot (weight 0.06): Levels contain hidden areas and rooms accessible through environmental puzzles, rewarding exploration with more loot opportunities. Collected items remain with the hero even upon mission failure, but loot is obtained primarily as a reward for missions or special encounters.
- Twin-stick gameplay, dodge issues (weight 0.05): The game features twin-stick shooter gameplay with a mild active reload system and a dodge/dash mechanic. However, some reviewers noted the absence of a dedicated dodge button and damage reduction, which can be problematic early in the game.
- Skills found as loot drops (weight 0.04): Players can equip active skills before a mission, such as teleport, force field, auto-turret, or healing zone. Active skills are found in the drop pool, eliminating the need for experience grinding or a skill tree.
- Base apartment for item management (weight 0.04): Players can manage their equipment at their home base, swapping items and considering stats, perks, and buffs. The base is represented as an apartment, with each menu integrated into the environment.
- Lacks a clear identity (weight 0.03): Some reviewers feel the game lacks a clear identity, blending elements from Diablo, Warframe, and Destiny without fully committing to a unique vision.
- Gear greatly impacts survivability (weight 0.03): Survivability significantly increases with a full set of exotics and high-level gear. Survivability skills, shield amplification cards, and drones are effective against aggressive bosses.
- Weapon imbalance, limited arsenal (weight 0.03): Some reviewers found that certain weapon types, like pistols, are less effective than others, leading to a limited viable arsenal. Automatic weapons and shotguns are often preferred.
- Unclear purpose of daily rewards (weight 0.01): Daily rewards are present in the game, but their purpose or benefit is unclear to some reviewers.
- Missing card tutorial (weight 0.01): One reviewer found it not obvious how to use the cards and suggests adding a tutorial.
- Useless stats on equipment (weight 0.01): Not every stat on equipment is useful.

Performance notes:
- Good performance, few/no bugs (weight 0.1): The game generally runs well, with many players reporting good performance on PC and Steam Deck. Some players didn't encounter any bugs during their playtime.

Recommendations:
- Generally enjoyable, worth the price (weight 0.48): Many reviewers find the game enjoyable and recommend it, especially considering its price and early access status. However, some find it mediocre or repetitive, while others express general satisfaction but note room for improvement. Overall, the game is considered a worthwhile purchase by many, with the expectation that it will continue to improve.
- Good cyberpunk ARPG/looter-shooter (weight 0.17): The game is praised as a solid cyberpunk ARPG or looter-shooter, particularly for fans of the genre, co-op play, and those seeking a Diablo-style experience. Reviewers highlight the engaging story, intense battles, loot system, and customization options as key strengths. The unique combination of isometric shooting, cooperative elements, and Synth customization is also appreciated.
- Suggestions for gameplay improvements (weight 0.13): Reviewers suggest several specific improvements to enhance the gameplay experience, including adding a dodge button or early-game damage reduction, improving loot tables and in-game information, and fixing bugs. Other suggestions include adding visual distinctions between weapon types, more varied weapon effects, set attributes for equipment, city settings for maps, more color variety, hit effects for bots, and increasing the drop rate of rare equipment.
- Game-breaking bugs in multiplayer (weight 0.03): Several reviewers strongly advise against buying the game for multiplayer due to game-breaking bugs encountered. This point is important because it directly impacts the multiplayer experience, which is a key feature for many players. The presence of game-breaking bugs significantly detracts from the enjoyment and playability of the game.
- Early story impressions only (weight 0.02): The reviewer is still in the early stages of the story and will postpone further evaluation until the full version is released.
- More fun with friends (weight 0.02): Playing in a group is much more interesting, so invite friends.
- Good on Steam Deck (weight 0.01): The game is well-suited for playing on the Steam Deck.

Other player notes:
- Early access, needs development (weight 0.14): Many reviewers mention the game is in early access, acknowledging its incomplete state and potential for improvement. They recognize both the limitations and the promising ideas present, hoping for further development and content additions.
- Needs better localization (weight 0.04): Several reviews point out the presence of Russian text and the need for improved localization. This suggests that the game's translation and adaptation for non-Russian speaking audiences require attention to ensure clarity and understanding.
- Confusing unlock requirements (weight 0.03): Some players are experiencing difficulty understanding how to unlock certain content or find specific items within the game. This indicates a need for clearer in-game instructions or tutorials.
- Uninteresting plot/dialogue (weight 0.02): One reviewer found the plot uninteresting and skipped most of the dialogue. This suggests a potential weakness in the game's writing or narrative delivery.
- Risk of being overshadowed (weight 0.01): One reviewer expresses concern that the game might be overshadowed by another release. This point is less about the game itself and more about its potential visibility in the market.
