- Positive Art Style (weight 0.15): The game's art style is generally well-received, with players finding it pleasing and effective in its simplicity, without overwhelming the background.
- ZUN's Contributions (weight 0.08): There is appreciation for ZUN's involvement, specifically regarding his music, lore writing, and perceived care for the community.
- High Replayability (weight 0.08): The game offers significant replay value due to its challenging nature and six different playable stage paths, encouraging players to master the mechanics over multiple attempts.
- Developer Care and Lore (weight 0.07): Players appreciate the attention to detail, such as the lore provided in the manual and the thematic connections to the manga. This indicates a thoughtful approach to the game's world-building.
- Cloud Save Feature (weight 0.06): The inclusion of cloud saves is a welcome quality-of-life improvement, preventing the loss of replays and enhancing player convenience.

Common complaints:
- Excessive and Unfair Difficulty (weight 0.79): Players consistently report the game's difficulty as abnormally high, even on 'Easy' settings, making it frustrating for both beginners and experienced players. The bullet patterns are described as terrifying, requiring extensive practice and memorization, and often feeling unreasonable.
- Problematic Ice Barrier Mechanics (weight 0.41): The core 'ice power' freezing mechanic is central but has several issues. Specific bullet types (flame, lasers) cannot be frozen, and the system's judgment is strict. The sound effect for freezing is also noted as painful, and the 'No Ice Victory' achievement is seen as ridiculous given the game's design.
- Poor and Unintuitive Controls (weight 0.38): The control scheme is widely criticized for being awkward and uncomfortable. Issues include a bad button layout, the need to constantly switch between rapid-fire and holding for ice, and the demanding finger movements required for basic actions, leading to physical discomfort.
- Lack of Traditional Touhou Elements (weight 0.23): The game deviates significantly from traditional Touhou experiences, lacking expected features like controller support and featuring bullet patterns that are a departure from the series' usual elaborate beauty. This makes it unappealing to fans of the original games.
- Presence of Game-Breaking Bugs (weight 0.07): Players have reported several bugs, some of which are severe enough to force a restart of a stage. This negatively impacts the gameplay experience and adds to the frustration.

Gameplay feedback:
- Short, Branching Stages (weight 0.43): The game features a relatively short campaign with 3 main stages plus an extra stage, but offers multiple routes and branches, providing some replayability. Stages are generally brief, with increasing bullet intensity and new bullet types introduced as players progress.
- Percentage-Based Lives/Bombs (weight 0.19): The game utilizes a unique percentage-based system for lives ('motivation') and bombs, where 100% equals one unit. Losing a life grants a partial bomb charge, making losses less punishing.
- Visuals and Design (weight 0.14): Players appreciate the character, bullet, and overall graphics design, rating them positively. The game's manual is also noted for providing deeper insights into its unique mechanics.
- Strategic Freezing Management (weight 0.14): Effective use of the freezing ability requires careful timing and resource management, as it takes time to charge and recover. Players must learn optimal activation times and patterns to succeed.
- Irrelevant Feedback (weight 0.07): This point is based on limited and low-quality feedback that appears to be unrelated to the game's actual content, possibly from a different game or a misunderstanding.
- No-Ice Challenge (weight 0.06): The game offers an 'E difficulty' option for attempting runs without using the ice mechanic, and a 'no ice' clear on 'N difficulty' is noted as an extreme challenge.
