- Relaxing and meditative experience (weight 0.1): Some players highlight the game's calming and motivating gameplay, which provides a stress-free yet engaging experience without heavy penalties for trial-and-error.

Common complaints:
- Frustrating controls and movement (weight 0.7): Controls for movement, aiming, and hero rotation are unintuitive, especially with mouse or controller. Players report awkward troop clumping and counterintuitive mechanics like spinning heroes.
- Short and repetitive gameplay (weight 0.66): Players consistently report the game feeling too short (2-3 hours of content) and repetitive, with limited map variety and shallow mechanics. This reduces long-term engagement and replayability.
- Unbalanced classes and items (weight 0.54): Classes like the Priest and Paladin are either overpowered or underwhelming, with poor numerical balance. Items are frequently described as generic, overpowered, or gated behind luck-based events.
- Poor difficulty balancing (weight 0.5): Difficulty is criticized for being either too punishing (e.g., hard mode overtuned) or too easy (win-rate >70%), with spikes feeling unfair. Some players also note excessive reliance on RNG for progression.
- Unintuitive UI and menus (weight 0.18): The UI is described as cluttered, unintuitive, and poorly optimized for controllers. Hidden heroes/items behind excessive menus further frustrate players.
- Limited team composition (weight 0.16): The 4-unit team limit restricts synergies and experimentation, with the synergy system itself discouraging mixed teams. This reduces strategic depth.
- Tedious achievements (weight 0.15): Achievements are seen as railroady, requiring repetitive playthroughs or limiting experimentation. Some are even reported as impossible to unlock in certain modes.
- Small arenas and poor level design (weight 0.13): Arenas are too small for effective dodging, and level design lacks variety, with repetitive nodes and limited strategic options.
- Overpowered or unfair bosses (weight 0.11): Bosses are criticized for instant-kill mechanics, overly large attacks, and lack of reaction time, making encounters feel cheap rather than challenging.
- Lack of tutorial and guidance (weight 0.1): New players struggle due to the absence of a tutorial or in-game guidance, making the learning curve steeper than necessary.
- Updates degrade experience (weight 0.1): Patches introduce bugs, unintuitive changes (e.g., UI), and make the game less fun over time, with some updates feeling unnecessary.
- Game-breaking bugs (weight 0.08): Critical bugs (e.g., progression blocked by treasure chests, inability to save mid-zone) severely disrupt gameplay and immersion.
- Elites harder than bosses (weight 0.07): Elite enemies are disproportionately difficult compared to bosses, with poor rewards that discourage engaging with them.
- Frustrating character unlocks (weight 0.07): Global character unlocks and deliberate grind requirements are seen as unnecessary barriers to enjoying the game.

Gameplay feedback:
- Synergistic hero combinations (weight 0.71): Players frequently highlight the depth of hero synergies and team compositions, allowing for diverse and strategic builds. The system encourages experimentation with unique abilities and faction bonuses.
- Roguelike progression structure (weight 0.62): The game integrates roguelike elements such as map-based path selection, permadeath, and procedural generation, creating replayable and challenging runs. Comparisons to *Slay the Spire* and *Hades* are common.
- Item and equipment variety (weight 0.54): Items and equipment (e.g., white to red tiers) offer stat buffs, active abilities, and passive bonuses, enabling deep customization. Synergies between items and heroes further enhance build diversity.
- Auto-battler with player control (weight 0.43): The game blends auto-battler mechanics with real-time player input, such as movement and rotation controls. This hybrid approach distinguishes it from traditional auto-chess games.
- King-centered party system (weight 0.29): Combat revolves around a non-combatant king protected by up to four heroes. This mechanic defines team composition and strategy, with heroes rotating in and out of the party.
- Random encounters and events (weight 0.27): Procedural generation introduces random encounters with decision-based outcomes, adding unpredictability to runs. Boss fights and environmental debuffs (e.g., ice, toxic zones) increase challenge.
- UI and customization limits (weight 0.16): While item slots (up to 3 per hero) and UI settings exist, feedback suggests room for improvement in clarity and flexibility, particularly for money management and build planning.

Performance notes:
- Game crashes during gameplay (weight 0.05): Multiple players report the game freezing or crashing at specific points, disrupting the experience. This issue appears to be consistent and affects core gameplay.
- Mouse control problems for hero rotation (weight 0.05): Players experience difficulties with mouse controls when rotating heroes, leading to frustration and impaired gameplay mechanics. This affects precision and responsiveness.

- UI changes deter recommendations (weight 0.13): Multiple players express hesitation or withdrawal of recommendations due to recent UI changes, which they describe as a dealbreaker despite initial positive impressions.

Players are particularly drawn to the substantial content for its price, the potential for future updates, and the fun, dynamic interactions between mechanics like token-based merchants and distinct class zones.
- Disappointment (weight 0.11): Disappointment arises from unmet expectations due to shallow gameplay depth, repetitive mechanics, and poor design choices like punishing difficulty spikes and restrictive unlocks.
